- The return journey to the UK begins... by weirdly heading further away from Greece and leaving Europe entirely.

Never understand why good vloggers never get high subs
It helps that you are so laid back.....I'd give up still in England 😂😂😂..take care drive..
Brilliant insights again. This is the type of video I like to watch. Something different. My mates dad use to go down to Israel in the 70s. They were different times but had great stories of being away and tasting the local brew.👍👍👍
Great video. It's amazing to see a trip from England go the outer reaches of Europe.
I spent 5 years in the Merchant Navy. Joined at 16 years old. And left when I was old enough to take my HGV. And you are not far wrong. It had its good parts. But in the main it could be extremely boring. But it was a means to an end.
Got My HGV and never really looked back. Yes it has its bad parts, but overall I have enjoyed almost every part of it. Becoming an O/O was my goal ( You Bloody Fool ). But it has worked out okay. As I tell others who ask " There is Never a dull day as an O/O ". Great vids as always.
Another great video, that really is a long way from home amazing , please keep your videos coming.
You are quite the traveller! Become a truck driver, and see the world!!
You remind me of a Gary Larson Farside sketch where there is a deer walking in the woods with a target painted on it...............................A bit like you and Customs 😂🤣😂🤣🙂🙃
Keep up the vlogs
I am a new viewer and wow what an epic series you have created. Enjoyable, informative and a great insight into event haulage. Keep up the good work 👍.
Great content as always . Looking forward to the next one
Great video as always
Absolutely World Class video superbly filmed and edited, Looks like it was a right ball ache dealing with customs though, Did that bring back memories when you saw that LKW Walter trailer in the port, Already looking forward to watching the next episode of your wonderful adventure. Take care and best wishes to you
Great vlog as usual mate looking forward to seeing the next one safe journey
Excellent again. May the next part roll.

From sweden
I make sure all vids in a series are done before uploading. There will be a gap before the next series.
Good to seeyou are heading the right way now , good luck
very good video you look wacked with all the rubbish you having on the boarder control.. still you got out have fun and stay safe.... (yours trucker monty in the UK at the moment)
Really enjoyed this one, as I do all your videos, I hope we can see the final leg of the journey soon ?
Thanks 👍
Back in 2019 catching a ferry from Patras lots of migrants we're jumping over the fence and the port police chased after them. Thank you for a video to remind me of my trip to Greece.
Fantastic work mate great video very well explained for the unknown keep up the videos great watch all the best
I went to Bari in my van and trailer.
It was the only time I thought I was going to get robbed.
21 years in the Royal Navy. It takes a special sort of person to go to sea but the rewards when hitting the foreign countries sure outweigh the downsides.
Another great video interesting and informative lots of content looking forward to the next one 👍
Brilliant videos definitely a trip for the history books there's definitely not many drivers have done that journey
Great vlog as always 👍
At least you know how things work now with all the customs
Excellent Yet Again Long Trip v When You Getting One Off The New Volvos ? ? ? ? Have A Safe Trip And Stay Well Out There. ! ! ! !
I’m quite happy with my Daf.
Epic !
Good evening from New Zealand bro
Always interesting to see
Good video buddy 👍
Superb 😊
Fantastic video, Love the series so far! Look forward to the next. Where is the next destination series?
Copenhagen.
@@DTWTheWanderingMuzungu Excellent. Look forward to that one!
Another great video in the series, informative, fascinating and well put together - thank you. If you were driving in the 70's, would you have fancied the overland routes to the Middle East as per Astran Trucking and others. Loads to Iran and backloading out of Baghdad - oil kit down to Dubai and Oman?
Did see a video on it the other week. Was certainly an adventure and a half back then.
👍
Another great video, agree fascinating trip. Sadly not your department but love to know how the office price this trip up when it arrived in their inbox. Did it run to budget ?, any unexpected costs ?. Remember back in the 90’s having to price up a European Music Tour which the normal companies couldn’t cover, 9 trucks over 4 weeks including Russia. Nightmare, didn’t get it in the end as a cancellation meant Redburn Transfer did it. Safe travels
No idea how trips are calculated. But didn’t run into any problems or overruns on this trip so I assume it was all in budget.
Another great video DTW and I'm really enjoying this series. 😀👌 2 questions.
1. How common is it for people at ports to speak English, or even broke English? My fear is always that they won't speak English and I don't speak theirs and it turns into a strange game of charades to try and communicate. 😁
2. Are you a tea or coffee drinker? It dawned on me that I don't think I've ever seen you with a brew in your hand or ever speak about stopping for a brew. 😁
- Scott
I think every port I’ve been to there’s some degree of English. Usually the office staff are better than the dock workers.
I don’t do hot drinks unless it’s hot chocolate. Even then that’s not very often.
Awesome video's mate.. really enjoyed this one... great experience for you and you'll look back at this trip in the future as a great one...Those Turkish trailers parked up in Haifa do you know if they are used on middle East
runs? Wonder where do they ship to ?
Take care and keep the videos coming...ps Bet you go back to Cyprus...🤣🫡
I’ve seen posts on FB from Taklog logistics. They run all over Europe and the stans.
What an adventure when was this filmed
It was pretty much exactly a year ago.
Why did you do a ferry movement at Patras when the 15hr crossing would have got your break in ok
It’s to indicate that I was on a ferry and not just parked up in a lay-by. DVSA/Vosa can be that particular about things.
I see Belarus flash up with you my Ex Girlfriend was from there and nice country
Bulgaria
That’s BG.
Absolutely great vid, loads of content and well put together.
Your vids just get better every time.
Must admit you have the patience of Jobe. It must get very frustrating with idiots at customs. Every port has its own way of doing things Usually the left hand doesn't what the right hand is doing 😂.
I totally agree with you 3 days on a floating tin can does not appeal. Think this is why l have never ever wanted to do a cruise. Thousands of people, eating in crowded restaurants at a given time each day . Plus the village idiot whose booked the same cruise as you. Who wants nothing more than to tell you about sailing the 7 seas !!!!!. Reminds me of sardines in a can .
Na, open road villages towns mountains hills fields full of colour you cannot beat it.plus you can stop and eat where you like.
I agree whole heartedly with you on that.
I for one hate the motorway in and out of Athens. It's totally boring and uninteresting. Seems to go on forever. Have had to do this loads of times since living in Greece. Doesn't get any better with time.
Loving the journey with you so far on this trip.
Looking forward to the journey across Europe. Sanity reins again at last.
Stay away from Gazza my Friend
Haifa is quite far north.
