Hey Joe....not long now until the well earned....the big 100,000 subscriber's is just around the corner.....🤞.
If you want to really clean the aluminum on your boat, I used air conditioner condenser coil cleaner (acid type works best) and the aluminum cleans up shiny new. I then put a good coat of car wax on and the boat just glides through the water.

Flex seal works great initially but will peel off if it flexes too much. Hope you have better luck.
We went through the internet stuff and finally just gave up and signed up for Starlink. It came right away and was working in 10 minutes after arrival. We've never looked back. Flawless performance.

We tent it for duck hunting. I have no want to camp in a tent otherwise. I did my years of that. I have probably "ruffed it" more than most.
the headphone 3.5 mm plug from the TV to your speaker plugs to play sound through your speakers is how I do it without adding a amplifier

I spend 2 weeks every summer on a lake on the White Earth Reservation, just got back to Florida. Until I saw your videos I never noticed or recognized fish houses for what they were. This time I couldn't even count them all :) New ones that size are spendy!!!!!$$$
Joe!! There is a screw to tighten up the motor so it doesn’t flop back and forth!! It’s on the top end under the front of the motor cover. Good luck have fun!!
Joe in the place I live we have no mow May to encourage the bees on the wildflowers .. the verges are overgrown but flowering with dandelion and grass seed heads .. ((UK SUB))
You may be thinking about a product named Gluvit, meant to seal aluminum boats. I used some a few years ago on my old smokercraft aluminum that had the same leaking rivet issues and it fixed it right up.
That’s a cool gas station where (I think) you filled up the propane tanks. Stopped there on the way to Two Harbors a couple of years ago to snap some photos.
Should use spray or brush bedliner on inside of boat. Works really well and Is nonslip surface.
I think that reel you are talking about was called a Johnson. And good choice on the Shakespeare that is my favorite since I was a kid thanks to my dad.
I can’t wait to see the fish house when you guys go camping in it in two weeks. I like the idea if you have any antenna, we could pick up a signal to watch TV or the news that’s smart getting your Fishhouse ready your Melissa to go away for a weekend that’s cool too. You stay busy all the time.

You should paint the bottom of your boat with Flex Seal. To stop the leaks

GREAT video! Love the 202 & the 404…I remember the old Coleman closed Bails that (somehow) my sister and I used to still manage to foul back in the 70’s! Luckily, my DD has learned (and early) to a) use multiple reels and b) untie knots 😂. Can’t wait to see the fish house in action!
There’s an epoxy paint the boys in FL and LA use on their airboats that works well…used it on my duck boat in New England..held up great! Floated and rolled it out from the inside…no water since!
Joe, do you disconnect the trailer lights when you back the trailer into the water to launch? If your lights are not WATERPROOF the cold lake water can blow the hot bulb when you hit the brakes.
The lights are submersible.
Why not putting that car in one of the garages? Sitting outside even with the tarp is bad for that gem !

I spend a lot of time outside and this year I have only had one crawling on me. They are just ticks, I really do not worry about them. Chickens like to eat them, letting them free range the yard I am sure helps.

Led trailer lights are the way to go. No fiddling with bulbs. They just work!

I got one of those onn Walmart TV's , pre Black Friday . 40" for 98$ and a 55" for 198$.
To this day! I still fish with a zebco33 older ones they have brass gears.
An other great sealer is FLEX SEAL. It would also help with creating a slight traction on the floor. There is an aerosol and liquid option.
Like I said and showed in this video, I used 4 cans of flex seal.
I'm 68 yrs old and my first pole was a metal one with a closed face Zebco reel. Caught alot of pan fish on that.
Would love to know what Melissa's work is. She seems like a very cool person.

Zebco 404 has #15 test line and that's all my Dad has ever used on Erie for Walleye . NO Leader , just a ball bearing snap swivel
I've caught more fish with a Zebco 33 than any other reel.
You really need to get the weedeater out and trim back that grass around everything. Drives me crazy to see it. Good luck

When you were sprinkling your garden, it reminded me of a great idea that I just saw on Facebook. Somebody put a chicken run around the outside of their garden, which fed the chickens, but also kept the bugs out of their garden.
I dont know if you watch Slim Potatohead's channel but he luckily found a crack in the bottom frame of his trailer. Luckily he was parked and safe when he found it. But, it was a big deal because he was at a forest park. He had to find a special wrecker to haul the trailer on. It couldn't we pulled. 40 miles away. Nightmare stuff.

The personal touches y'all are adding really change the interior of the mobile condo and fit the vibe of it very well. Saw the lure the wife got you on your fb. Let me know what you catch with it.
Pressure wash the inside of the boat, dry, then clean up with a couple of cans of brake cleaner. Once the inside is clean, apply a marine paint with some fine sand added for slip resistance. The paint should seal up the leaks around the rivets.
TV mounts are what's called "VESA standard" most normal sized TVs mount the ssame

Hey buddy, E from New Jersey you should try flex seal I heard it’s good. I’ve never tried it but something to look into.
I would smear JB Weld on the outside of my boat on those rivets that leaked. Really works.

I remember only having dial-up internet for years in No. Vt. I was looking into satellite internet but my phone company started offering DSL service. So I opted for that instead, 15 years ago.
We have DSL here but it is so painfully slow if I am trying to upload a video it may as well be dial up. Hopefully they will hook up the fiber optic soon.

It is a little more difficult up here. You are obviously not staying in the Minnesota wilderness areas like we do. When the closest TV tower is 50 miles away your window antenna will get you nothing but fuzz.

I used flexseal. We just got back from our camping weekend and it worked AWESOME. It was amazing how well it worked.
