Even after hip surgery your dad is still pretty spry, God Bless him, cherish every moment,I miss my Dad every day, your a good man. A favorite evening pass time of mine is to watch TH-cam videos such as both of your channels and other of my favorite TH-cam family members. I can't get around as good as I used to what with osteoarthritis. I can still do small tasks around the house with the aid of my wife and grandsons. Thank goodness for folks like you posting videos.

Glad to see you helping your dad, if he's anything like you it probably bugs him when there are things that need to be done, so you helping him by doing the things he can't anymore gives him peace of mind.

Thanks for helping your dad. When someone is used to doing their own chores and maintenance, but then reach a certain age, things like climbing ladders becomes too dangerous even though your mind says you can still do it. 70 was when i retired my ladders for good, but my son and son-in-law live too far away to help, and hiring someone reliable for small jobs is very difficult. Now i am 75 and the lawn mower is starting to look like it needs to be retired as well even though it is self propelled.
I am 70 also and do not climb the ladder any more. Used to clean the gutters and had no problem hanging blinds on the porch. Now, nope. Daughter comes for a visit and she tackles all of the chores I can no longer do. I am still cutting grass and the banks are getting harder. I am a chick and have done my share of hard work my entire life. Those years creep up on ya, and before you know it, you are 70. I always enjoy seeing you and your dad together, working. Great video.
Joe, my grandpa attached a boat trailer crank handle to the end of his dock and attached it to the back of the boat cleats. He would simply crank the handle and the boat would pull off the grass into the water. Had a second crank on shore, both cranks chest high by the way, and would pull the boat back up on the grass. Saved his back from that pulling. He picked cranks up at a marina for next to nothing. Works like a charm.

Hey Joe,... loved the video .. I wanted to mention ..as far as mice go .. I use a combination of mouse bait and ultrasonic repellent in my out buildings and I don't have a mouse problem any longer. The ultrasonic repellent get mixed reviews but they have been keeping the mice away for me. If they come in .. they don't stay long, or they hit the bait and disappear. Keep the videos coming!

something to try at the tent for bugs. big bottle blue cheap mouthwash, 3 cups epson salt, 3 stale 12 oz beers, mix the 3 ingredients together well till salt is de-solved spray anywhere you sit outside will not harm plants gets rid of mosquitoes for aprox 80 days.
Hello, If you get some Bay Leaves toss around on the floor , counter through out the tent and this will solve the mice problem and other insects. I have Bay Leaves in my garage trust me .I have not seen a mice since I started spreading the leaves around .😮

If it's fun that's all that matters.. The belts came, another reason to come back!! The carpet is going to be so Happy.. The only thing I don't like about treats for the mice is sometimes they die inside where you can't find them,til either you smell it or flies are around.. Just in my experience.. I wonder if you fished with worms you'd get more bites than with a lure. We have a tank (pond). I'd fish with no luck. My Dad would say "Oh, it's too hot. or Oh, it's too cold. or Oh, it's too early. or Oh, it's too late. or Oh, it's too windy." He'd find an excuse every time.

Been fishing in boundary waters for 10 years. We use artificial worms on the bank. Small mouth bass a plenty. We like them

Either they are biting when I cast my spinner bait or they are not. That is the extent of me fishing that lake. I have fished it for 40 years.
