I wish you could get the manager of that store to really take a look at how difficult it is to reach above the clothing racks for the "breakable" items. No one is tall enough to see up there. I'm glad you got the pumpkin color throw. Its my favorite today!!
If your looking for a queen size bed some of the old beds you can remove the rail holders and put them on the outside of the legs of the bed and make it the size of a queen. I've done that with a full size headboard that was quite wide and it worked. You just have to get new cross members to hold up foundation. If there a will there's a way. Love your finds.
A succulent would be so cute in the bird after the candle is burnt if you don’t keep replacing it! It would be precious painted so many colors too! I know you like the color but still! Love those little restaurant like bowls. I get them when they aren’t too high. My thrift stores have been overpriced a lot lately. You can TELL the employees aren’t “shoppers” and don’t know better…so frustrating! Thanks for what you do. I lovveeee thrifting and up cycling!

What a stunning bed and I loved the greyish blue desk too. Put a bunch of corks inthere and decorate your candlesniffers in a little soupterrine. I have a baby one too. I have a fiew clear candleholders in there with some fairylanps in the pot. Have twisted candles inthere as decor. Love your scarvefinds, i love them too. Beautyfull orange one! Thanks for the great walk through. Like you I used to thrift to relieve stress. I had a very stressful job so Saturdays I would thrift from like 9am till 5-6pm...no lunch. There are so many thrift shops in Greater Houston. You have inspired me since I'm homebound to change my decor. I get bored very easily since I see the same things day after day. There's a resale shop here & the owner posts all her new stuff. I order & they drop it off to me. I so appreciate her. Keep thrifting & posting. It's the first thing I watch on Saturdays. The big scarves are referred to as blanket scarves. I have one that I lived in while in hospital for a few weeks during a Chicago winter! I also use then as throw blankets on my living room chairs.

I thrift to flip but you do such amazing things to your items and give me such good ideas on how to stage them. You are truly a joy. I recently moved to Florida and thought that I needed to get out of my old world antique style and go beach. I hate it. I work on old stuff I grew up with antiquing with my parents and I’m now switching everything back. I love your house and that’s how I want to live. I so regret getting rid of all the stuff that I had over the years. I only kept a few things that were sentimental to me because I got them with my father but I got rid of so much stuff. You have really pushed me to go back to the way I love to live. Thank you.
Hi Julie, I saw the video and I was speechless with some of things that I saw, first a French arch mirror and that bed OMG looks like French Provincial style, love love. Your haul was great as always, the soup casserole, the bird and the little bowls are my favorites. Hi Julie you do get some lovely items I’ve been looking here in the uk when me and hubby went away for a break but these nothing since the pandemic these just nothing decent anymore and the prices have gone really high on the clothes in some of the shops I used to get loads everytime I went into town with my mam but not anymore it’s sad I used to get really pleased with myself when getting a bargain your so lucky 😊❤️♥️💗💜

Thrifting is definitely relaxing, it helps with my anxiety and stress.....it's comforting to know I'm not the only one who relieves outside inhibitors by going to thrift stores.

The wooden bell, I believe is old/vintage. It looks like what was used to put a pretty decoration on their homemade butter.
You could put an antique gravy ladle with a pretty silver plate design in place of the missing spoon.

hello! I store extra teacups nested in my tureens in my china cabinet,that way the stacked cups don't topple over& jump off the shelf to their demise

Kitchrn twine is great inside, you just pull out whatever length you need right out the spoon ooening.
I would probably use the little terrine for salad dressing or homemade sauce at a barbecue….keeps the bugs out😅
