Dear Lord....Thank You for giving this Man his talent. I was priveledged to see Adrian perform in Houston, Tx several years ago on the G3 Tour. He walked on stage, sat in a chair, & floored around 20,000 people who watched & listened in silence as he played. I was speechless & inspired.
all too long it took to find out hr had installed "banjo tunung pegs" in order to to achieve the completion of so many mystery notes. It ain't cheatin, no special effects, just pure mechanical ingenuity. Saw him every time at the Tin angel in Philly, 20 south two street 2nd floor
Not any banjo pegs. Bill Keith ones. Specifically, he has the ones that have drop tuners. They're expensive (guitar ones come in sets of 2 and cost around 260 USD)
I sometimes wonder if any lesser skilled players have broken strings trying to copy him. Because the list of players who are leasser skilled would probably be infinitely long.
the answer is YES! hahahah.....his guitars are special made and the tuning machines are not like on any other guitars. He is truly a one of a kind! The only other guitarist I have seen do this is Danny Gatton when he was alive, and did it with a plain old Telecaster.
