At 9:20 you hooked up your Pico....because the signal from the pcm was not good....adjusted variable speed with your Maxesjoojiz....???? I think i need to know howcto donthis. Please clarify. Thank you.
Actually, it was both. I think the fuse blew first, then the person trying to fix it put a module on it thinking that was the problem but in reality the original module was in fact good. New module, but bad.
@@TiosAutoDiagnostics Well, not on the gauge, but I thought it was odd it didn't run when I shut the car off in the middle of summer. The fan module took a shit on me and didn't run the fan with AC turned on so I replaced it and it works fine, but I've been chasing coolant leaks for the last two months and it's driving me crazy! First it was the short heater hose leaking, the one from firewall to the cooling flange. 2 weeks later, the seal on the flange blew out, so I replaced the flange assy. While changing that, the little plastic tank return line broke. I gooped it with rtv, and that developed a small leak after a couple of weeks, re-gooped it and that's fine. Been driving it to work all week, and last night my coworker came in and told me I had a massive coolant leak. Filled it up and drove home, popped hood, turned off the car and fluid just bubbled back in the overflow tank and out of the hole all over the ground. Figured it was heat related, but I changed the thermostat when I did the flange, so was figuring it was overheating and without the fan coming on, who knows! It's a great little work car, but it's driving me batty! Sorry for the long response, I'm half Irish!🤣 We love a long tale!
I would definitely check the engine temperature, manually and what the ecu is reading. If the ecu can’t read the ECT sensor, it won’t know to try and cool it, if that makes sense. I don’t trust gauges. I use a harbor freight temp gun and obd live data to compare.
@@TiosAutoDiagnostics I just got a Foxwell NT301 so I can monitor the real time data for ECT, but it's just weird that it just started doing this out of the blue. Thank you for your response.
That first red wire that went to nothing was probably for an aftermarket HID headlight ballast, which probably failed long ago because well, look at the workmanship at display here. Probably had the cheapest eBay HID kit he could find and put it in himself. Same with the stereo nonsense. The sad part is they made all that mess and a couple $5 fuses and eyelets would've been safer and looked factory. Makes you shake your head when you see it.
Title has been updated! This is a 2013 and not a 2009 as first listed when uploaded. I hadn’t noticed until viewers pointed out what it is not.

Sorry bout that, it’s the Autel Maxisys Elite with bi-directional control for the cooling fan motor.
Hope this helps, thanks for watching amigo!
what was the actual fix the control module or the 50 amp mega fuse?????? what fixed the fan mines doing the same junk right now.

Great job, Thanks!
My fan works with AC on but doesn't any other time. Any ideas?
Sounds like the engine might not be reading the temperature right. Is it running hot?

Does the live data agree with the gauge? I’ll be curious to find out the outcome, keep me posted please.
Had this happen to me the other day and of course its during Canada’s -40 cold snap. Hopefully its just a bad fuse
Fingers crossed for amigo! Stay safe and warm
That doesn't look like a 2009 Focus
My coolant fan is not working just wanted to know why
Did you find the problem?

tks
Around 3 weeks ago i had the same setup come in for headlights. Just ended up being a bad fuse...😂
Someone had their fingers in it no doubt 🤣 BTW, I’m working on the shorts idea, but I realized after I made it…I had the camera turned the wrong way 🙄
That is not a 2009 ford focus
What a rats nest!
