If someone has had a US clinical experience in a surgical specialty, but after graduation they changed thier career preferences from surgery to Internal Medicine. Would that elective suffice for the purpose of applying? Or should also do a US experience in IM?
Because many institutions do not accept "observerships" as a US clinical experience, so its harder for IMG graduates to have a hands-on clinical experience.

My medical school was founded in 2014 and it's not accredited by Wdoms even after the first batch graduation in November 2021 .. can you tell me if there is a chance for my medical school to get the accreditations before 2024 or there is no hope

Dr.Asaad.. If I've been accepted in internal medicine, could I do subspecialty after 1 or 2 years of finishing 3 years internal medicine residency?? Do they conaider the gap between finishing residencey and subspeciality ( I will work during this years and do research cuz I can't afford staying in US) ??

Yes if you apply and get ecfmg reference number before 2024 then you can do with current rules itself. Because I'm in the same condition.
