I am asking for some advices and procedures to help the students who will graduate from medical schools after 2024 .How can they now start to make plans to study for Usmle steps and other things and in the same time their universities are not accredited by an accredition agency recognized by WFME .In brief ,how will they do such exams if they wil be banned from applying to it after 2024 ?
Is there a downside to pursuing research for 2-3 years at an established institution in USA like Mayo clinic etc.? Is it true that a Internal medicine program in a community hospital will prefer a recent IMG graduate vs a 3-5 year old graduate who has delayed his/her residency application in order to pursue research in USA? I'm asking because getting a paid research position will often require a 2-3 year commitment. Thank you!
Hello can you ask after confirming from Dr medhat if he used offline uw for step2ck or online In his experience of step 1 he made it clear it was offline I am already thankful to you for the question you will ask him , please ask
That was a great interview! I have one question though: as a Syrian medical graduate, are there still any chances of getting a VISA to the US? I know it's never impossible, but with the current situation there, do you think that our chances as Syrians will improve? Do you know if there're any specific things we can do to try to get there to do the CS for example? And then trying for a residency seat? Any help will be much appreciated.
Excellent video! Does Dr. Medhat recommend to use ANKI or any flashcards during USMLE Step 1 preparation? If yes, during what phase of preparation does he recommend to start to use them? and Does he recommend to write everything that is missing in First Aid from the Kaplan resources?
Great interview, I've been following you for a while on your social media platforms. Do you mind sharing Dr mateh scores, as an Img with similar background, 2 yrs us clinical experience and 1 year research (same place, different area), pursuing a residency spot at cleveland clinic, I would like to know my chances or have a better understanding of the minimum scores needed to be considered
Did Dr.farwati have any research experience before flying to US as a research fellow?..I mean he got to Mayo clinic not as a fellow for god's sake that's huge!
This interview is worth more than the $2000 residency application counselling. Thank you Dr Malke and Dr Medhat.
