Courses like this should be compulsory (if drivers want to be proficient at towing a caravan). I was fortunate enough years ago to be taught how to reverse ambulances using only the two side mirrors (we had an obstacle course which had to be completed in a set time without hitting a pole/traffic cone). Getting the hang of reversing in such a manner came in really useful when I began learning how to reverse our caravan. You guys seem to teach the same techniques taught to trainee paramedics-great video!
Coover I picked up my first van about 6 months ago and commented to my wife that I can't believe I could just pick it up without a special licence or training. I don't want to live in a world where everything is regulated but there is so much to know when it comes to driving and reversing a van. So many people are ignorant when it comes to towing limits etc.
Some people don't like to tell the emperor that he's undressed. Considering the apparent expertise, this is an example of how not to make a techy video. Did anyone plan this, anyone edit the video?
How to make something fairly simple, hugely complicated. How to make something a little scary for newbies, absolutely f***ing terrifying. You need a first class engineering degree to follow these people. A great lesson in how NOT to teach a skill.

@Fly Oz Try a supermarket carpark after hours. It's free and there's not anyone there to take the piss out of you..
Very good method and will try it out! Just had to watch and study it 20 times as each concept wasn't explained too well
Fantastic. I wish they did courses like this in the UK.
They do.
They do! Caravan and Motorhome Club run special courses.
These techniques work great in an empty carpark, not so easy in a small crowded caravan park.

Brilliant 😊
I like my motor mover
