Just to let people know the latest version of the simulator has been released. It now shows a small yellow indicator line next to the caravan wheel to indicate the direction the trailer will move in depending on how you set the steering wheel. This is a great additional teaching aid for those new to reversing.
Been pulling a three angel horse float for years. Reverse parking it back home can vary day to day. If having a bad day ( long show day) . I will secure everything and abandon it . Try again the following day, then it all goes straight in. 😅😅😅😅. Show grounds can be tricky. I have asked people to do it for me, not worth the stress. 😮😮. Hubby put in reverse camera, great but not fool proof.
I guess that's a typo, and you mean a three axle??? (If not the I'd be really interested to know what a three angel is 🤣) I find twin axles easier as they want to run straight, but I can imagine that a triple axle would be too keen not to turn.
Thanks for letting me know. I've just double checked and my copy passes virus check ok. Norton and other AV software can sometimes block any software that is downloaded. This is especially true if the installation package isn't signed or validated in some way. I'll let the developer know.
Thanks very much for letting me know about this. The installer is protected by a digital certificate issued by Sectigo so should be perfectly safe to download. I have had occasional reports of a potential virus threat but on investigation these have turned out to be false-positive results. This can be caused by measures taken to obfuscate the program code.
I am unsure in my logic having never had a caravan or trailer but plan to get something soon ,but I think if you completely disregard in your brain about how your steering normally goes when reversing just the car and to just think what happens at the tow hitch and that you are in effect PUSHING the trailor/caravan now and then you would probably do the right manuoevre with the steering wheel? Please comment .
Hi, you are right to a certain extent in terms of the trailer. You effectively need to to imagine what you would do if you were pushing it manually from the hitch. Then steer the car so that the tow ball goes where you would to turn the trailer. However it's a bit more complex because the car also has to follow the trailer so you still need to think about the "normal" steering of reversing a car. Otherwise the trailer will go where you want it to but the car will get into a weird position. Hope that helps.
Do you mean the practical demo at the end? I didn't say which way I was turning the wheels but the three camera views should have shown the direction I was steering both in terms of the steering wheel and also the camera showing the front wheel of the car.

Well done Dave, one question have you got reversing seniors on your caravan as well as a camera..G
Thanks. No sensors, just the camera,
Love Your app. 😊
Not my app, I just made the video. But I'll pass it along thank you.
Thanks very much - glad you like it!

Just to let you know that my Norton Protection for my PC said that there was a threat on the download software and it removed it.

Your demo showed that you could do it. I expected that. You didn't really teach which way to turn the wheels. Hopefully the app will teach that.

Very good video
Thanks glad you liked it.
