    Very good one!!
    Here in new Zealand, we just use a piece of 9ft mono, not tapered.
    Not great for transfer of energy and landing flat but still doable by a hard wrist stop on forward cast and saves the headaches of tippet

    Do you have a solution to smoothing a loop to loop connection. Mine keeps getting caught in the top guide. Was going to try shrinkwrap tubing. Video?

      You can absolutely do that, depending on your nail knot skill it can take a little more time to tie and can be difficult when on a boat or in the water. The loop to loop allows for faster leader swap outs
