    i have been in the integra game for close to 2 decades. makes me happy to see people still giving these cars love. i have dont auto to manual swaps in the past and do not remember doing all that wiring., think i just left the neutral saftey switch attached to the harness and zip tied the switch so it was always on and just left it under the center consol.

      I know that’s a way you could’ve gone about it but I wanted the reverse lights to light up in reverse

    I’m enjoying following this build. 2 things I gotta say though
    1. Where did you get the manual gearbox and all the other stuff you need for the swap?
    2. If you are investing this sort of effort into manual swapping a car like you are currently doing you should 100% invest in heat shrink wrap for your wires. It’s so much better than using duct tape. You can buy a full kit of the stuff from Bunnings for like $20. Makes it a more secure lock on the wires and guarantees no water/moisture will get in there and short anything out.
    Other than that keep up the good work boys

    • @ValveHouseAU
      @ValveHouseAU  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I bought the gearbox and all of the parts of another Integra DC4 that was being parted out, I am planing to use a heat proof wrap but I was so excited to get it all together to make sure it all worked that I just used it without for the moment. Thanks for the info👍

    I was wondering what auto to manual swap mounts you went with, I'm currently not sure which one too order it looks like your transmission bolted right up

    • @xXx6sense

      Looks like they got the hasport auto to manual mount but I could be wrong

    • @ValveHouseAU
      @ValveHouseAU  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct, Hasport auto to manual mount. Looks mean and bolts right up. Make sure you get a manual T-Bracket as well.

    Watched all 3 videos and I didn't see you guys install the clutch pedal lol how does that get in??

    • @ValveHouseAU
      @ValveHouseAU  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will be included in the final manual swap video, up soon! It was very tight but you need to take master cylinder block of plate from firewall, install master cylinder and clutch pedal at the same time, tighten down and adjust biting point when done.

    question - do you need to replace auto ecu to manual ecu? and do you need to replace auto intake manifold and auto Throttle body and auto iacv to manual?

    • @ValveHouseAU
      @ValveHouseAU  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your car is OBD2 then yes you will need a manual ecu, but if your car is OBD1 then you can use the standard automatic ecu, the throttle body and intake manifold are the same on both auto and manual.

      @JomsF 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ValveHouseAU mine is obd2b we replaced the ecu to P06 rechipable, programmable but still not yet tune, then we also replaced the p2j intake and tb to a P08 manual iacv, idling now normal, wiring harness was also replaced, i hope it will run perfectly after tuning

    I have a DA from 1990, will these videos help me with my manual swap? There's essentially no videos or information on DA's besides a couple forum threads.

    • @ValveHouseAU
      @ValveHouseAU  ปีที่แล้ว

      They will most certainly help however there are slight variations obviously. The whole removal and installation of gearbox should be very similar and I would imagine the wiring to be similar too.

    • @ValveHouseAU

    • @ValveHouseAU

      I left the shifter electricals plugged in and it is left in P. This allows the var to be started, the shift solenoid plug needs to be grounded out I believe. I bought a manual swap plug for this swap.
