So does ending occupation mean that Israel has to be removed from existence, that the Israelis have no right to be in the place that they fought to be in. That they lived in since they escaped from Egypt and Moses brought them through the dessert to the promised land. The Roman Empire then occupied that land and surrounded area followed by the Ottoman Empire, then the British took over.
The area has been occupied numerous times by numerous Empires, so who originally owned what piece of land God only knows.

During the fall of the Ottoman Empire there were around 200 thousand Jews and 6 millions Arabs going by the 1914 Ottoman census and Encyclopedia Britannica, so between the Jew and the Arab population the Jews consisted around of 3.3% of the total population. Between the British and French controlled Ottoman the Jews were given around 2% control of the total land while the Arabs were given 98%, other enthic groups with a significant population like the Kurds were given nothing.

That is the attitude that has caused the killing. No attempt at all of trying to understand the Jewish argument. Israel displaced thousands of their own citizens forcibly from Gaza to give it to the Palestinians. The territory given to Israel was a tiny percentage of the land divided from the French and British mandate. So they could have displaced a number of Palestinians peacefully. NO the surrounding countries declared war in 1948 the Jews can have nothing. The Palestinians that did not flee from the 48 war have descendants living in peace in Israel and members of the Israel Parliament. So what is the argument about Palestinians being displaced. The problems of the West Bank is a different issue altogether so should not be used as an argument for the right of Israel to have a homeland.

Germany had 12 to 14 million refugees from Eastern Europe, Poland several million from what is now Belarus, and many more million Euroeans had to flee or couldn't or didn't want to stay for obvious reasons. None of them has a refugee status, and no European country has any demands from the neighbouring country, because that would mean endless conflict. The Palestinians, however, still claim they are refugees. They have to learn to deal with their situation as so many millions had to. In addition, the Palestinians declined five offers to get a state. All the Palestinian terror is not about a state but about killing 8 million Jews in Israel. I am German and I stand with Israel.
