Good deal... I was supposed to return this past Feb and to visit other parts of the Big Island... then the pandemic happened, and my plans got cancelled. Hopefully I return sooner than later.
Awesome video! I used to fly from Maui to Honolulu monthly, so the scenes in the video perfectly encapsulates the trip! The openness of Kona really gives a unique boarding experience!
I hear you. Expensive, yes, but then considering the state of Hawaii is FAR from the continental US. Does it feel like Disneyland? I disagree, lol. The Disneyland doesn't have beautiful natural beaches or forest, lol. Anyway, thanks for watching.
@@paulyiustravelogue Thanks for the reply. Take Hilton Hawaiian village for example. It’s all concrete, with lit advertising signs all around. Maybe I long for the Thai or Vietnamese or Philippine villages with homemade cuisine sold in thatched roofed, family owned restaurants, bamboo furniture, you get the drift? That’s how I want the Hawaiian experience to be, at least for me. That’s where I sense the true spirit of an island adventure. When American influence or ideas of how things should look or feel in a Hawaiian “village” should be, then the feeling is Disney-esque to me. I didn’t say fake, just that I don’t feel it. Ok, I’ll say fake. 🤣🤣
Kona, Hilo and the Hawaii Island as a whole are all great and relaxing! I thought I wouldn't enjoy my visit that much since I am such a city person. It turns out I now want to revisit!

Excellent video! Have never been to Hawaii but it’s in my top 3 places to visit. Hawaiian seems like a nice carrier as well!

I have heard Hawaiian is looking at the Airbus A220 as a possible replacement to the B717 fleet down the road.
