Ngl, I have a crystal cage in a necklace and I know it had a little bit of weight (but shouldn’t have been enough to break the chain), but the chain split and I didn’t even realize the cage was just chillin on the table until I was done talking with some higher-ups relating to my job. It took my entire shift for the chain to split, which was I think was at least 5-7 hours. I tried to enchant it to support me in adaptation, coping, motivation and energy, and calming emotions and protection at work. It didn’t happen again when I got a thicker chain, but what’s weird is that it never happened before, as far as I remember. I used the smaller part of it as a pendulum chain.

12:00. Ok, so if I randomly found a knot in the pendulum I used to communicate with deities, what does that mean? Like, I can't undo the knot the chain is in, and I was always careful with it?
Chains do just knot sometimes, but with protective jewelry it tends to be a specific sign.

Put it in a little ziplock baggie (like snack size or sandwich), put the chain in, pendulum, and all, and sprinkle some baby powder in the baggie. Not a Whole lot, just enough to get it all over the chain. Set it on, or near some selenite, and speak to the pendulum. Something like: "Please loosen the knot that is binding up the communication with the devine through this device. Thank you!" Leave it for several hours or overnight and then try to undo the knot - while the powder still coats everything. If you still can't un-knot it, take it to a jewelry shop and ask them to help you (leave it in the powder). Once you've got the knot out, wash it, dry it, polish it with some jewelry cleaner (or light oil), put it back on the selenite, smoke, or sound cleanse and re-dedicate it. I would suggest keeping pendulums hanging on a pendulum hanger of some kind.

It wouldn't hurt to put up more wards, but maybe try a whole different (i.e., bigger) chain or cord. Best of luck to you. 🌻
