So i have a question, i bought white sage about 2 years ago( i think) and i just now found out that white sage is only for closed practices and im not in a closed practice.....am i screwed at all or anything?
I mean- i think if you were to continue using it and ignore the fact that it's apart of a closed practice then probably. But if you just stop using it all together then I'm absolutely sure you'll be fine!

Not at all a criticism, but I'm curious why so many religions feature head coverings.
They’re pretty ubiquitous across faiths, but different religions have them for different reasons! I think the reason they’re so wide spread is a mix of tradition and mingling of cultures tbh
culturally speaking, its often considered a sign of modesty, that they aren't looking to attract a mate. Most people think of muslim cultures, but plenty of christian groups do the same. Some orthodox jewish groups encourage women to crop their hair after marriage for the same reasons.

If you want to see more options, look into hijab styles. I'm a us- born Muslim convert, and when i was living overseas i wore hijab. Hijab can take a few seconds to several HOURS to style. I wore fairly complex styles that only took a few minutes to achieve.

Yes!! Also protect your hair with oils that work for you! The friction can cause extreme prolonged damaged over time. I use so much tea tree oil and my hair is thriving better than before I ever started veiling! 5 years now!💛

Deleted previous comment because inaccuracy of my explanation. Veiling is a practice of covering onces head or face with fabric. Many cultures throughout time have practiced this and some even have specific styles. A more modern example of Veiling is found among Muslim women and their hijabs. But Veiling can be found in Christian, Hindu, Judaism, and in many pegan religions as well.
