The Brian Wells case happened in my hometown, and my dad actually participated in the crime recreation for a TV show. Something you didn't mention that really should have come up is that Brian wasn't just "not the sharpest tool in the shed," he was known to be actively mentally disabled--what folks 40 years ago would have called "a little slow." I remember hearing that for the first time many years ago on a crime show and I swear I haven’t heard it since! Whenever I see someone covering it in the back of my mind I can hear myself saying “Wait… but didn’t he have mental issues? Didn’t I hear that a few people say it probably wasn’t that hard to convince him to do it since he thought they were his friends!?” *sighs* It’s not just Eerie that treats people with “low intelligence” terribly, it’s a fact that across the US that people see an adult, they automatically think they should know better even if they have diminished capacity.

Dorothy Donovan is one of my favorite "mysteries" because like, it's so easy to believe that Charles was lying. What were the odds? I'm glad he was finally absolved of the guilt, but how insane.
The Weepy Voiced Killer case is equal parts sad and horrifying Someone calls the police, apologizing and asking for help because he can’t stop killing and he doesn’t know what to do But then he gains notoriety and suddenly…he’s not too upset about the murders as much as being locked up… The way he so quickly changed his attitude towards what he did is just disturbing
Can you imagine the panic of having a beeping bomb strapped around your neck with nobody around that could help you? That’s possibly the most terrifying feeling anyone could feel EVER
Lazy Masquerade No disrespect but you are wrong to state that Brian Wells was in on the robbery, the prostitute he was seeing at the time was the reason he got the device strapped to him in the first place. She admitted that despite the fact they were close she decided to betray him by giving his name to Marjorie and the others as an unwitting fall guy for their robbery plan and they then abducted him, she did this because she was desperate for money to buy the drugs she was addicted to. Brian Wells poor family told the police for years he would never willingly take part in a robbery and that he had been murdered but they wouldn't listen and instead went out of their way to deliberately blacken his name, they even callously chopped his head off just to get their hands on the device causing an already grieving family a lot more pain.
I watched the documentary and I believe the prostitute's story. Her story had the least holes in it and made the most sense. And also, she had nothing to lose or gain from it.

Stuff like that is not ok at all and he should've been locked up for life. I hope that Elena rests peacefully after she was put back into her grave. R.I.P beautiful soul. :(
That’s definitely not romantic! The whole story is, “Creep forcefully takes advantage of someone’s body!” God knows what kind of disturbing things he did with her body that was not recorded.
It’s more polite, but still gets the point across. Also if I there are younger kids reading, they won’t be exposed to that. Not that I do it, just brainstorming.
I was a little disappointed with the feet explanation to be honest. If that theory is true, about it being largely due to suicides and the shows just washing up after the fact, why has this been only an epidemic in British Columbia?? Surely California with the Golden Gaye Bridge and NYC have even more tragic incidents, but no feet in shoes have been reported washing up there in the same numbers. Still does not add up...
Propaganda in Pink it really has to do with the way the pacific current flows, typically since warm air from the south rises amd meets the cold the tides move the currents off the coast of California North, towards Canada. A similar thing actaully went down after the Japanese Earthquake a few years back. I remember some of cousins in Hawaii at the time would get reports of bodies making their way to the shore since they shared the same current its sad really
The story with the hitchiker...It's heartbreaking. Not only someone's mother was murdered, not only an old woman was murdered in such cruel way,but also, after such a traumatic experience, after which he would probably want his mother's warm hug to comfort him,he instead found her dead...she seemed so sweet and genuinely kind hearted,so this makes it even more difficult.I mean, thinking about how someone could hurt such person and especially this way
I suffer from insomnia. I have downloaded few of your audios and listen to them at night. It only takes me about 2 hours to fall asleep now. Thanks man, love to you
elena’s case just makes me sick. what disturbs me even more is the thought that at night, tanzler was sleeping in the same bed as a corpse, and waking up the next morning to go to work and was still treating patients. even more disgusting is that his reputation did not change and people just accepted that this man thought it was okay to steal a corpse and sleep with it.

Thank you Lazy for doing your research. Too many times I see that other channels will intentionally not tell the resolution. You do a good job of keeping the suspense but telling the whole story as well. Keep up the good work!
The story of Elena is one of my favorites (as someone who goes to Key West frequently), but I do feel terrible for the poor woman. She didn’t deserve any of that. He was a creep
@@saphriaflaans462 I would feel worse for her family who is still alive, I don’t remember saying this but I will stand with my point that its not going to traumatize and hurt them like it would if they were still alive, not saying it’s okay to do and however did it is a disgusting sicko
The first one makes no sense imo. If it was really about suicide, wouldn't it be a more worldwide phenomena? There's a lot of bridges you know. Plus drowning is pretty common, and running shoes are one of the most popular footwear....idk.
Similar thing did happen at some point in Poland, at the shores of Baltic Sea. You probably just don't hear about it all that much globally, more locally.
It comes down to a couple of basic things, really. 1) The reason it's the feet that are being found and not other body parts has to do with the shoes. Being made of plastic, foam, and rubber they tend to float really well. The feet inside of them stay stuck in the shoes after decomposition causes the joints of the ankle to break down and the buoyancy of the shoes causes them to float. 2) The "North Pacific Current" flows west to east from Asia to North America. It's a really important vector of warm water to cooler places, so it also plays a fairly important role in a large part of the world's climate. A really important research project was done on it back in 1990 when a cargo ship lost about 80,000 Nike shoes that went overboard. They were able to map out a lot of places where debris came ashore due to the current, and (perhaps unsurprisingly) British Columbia was one of those places. In fact, debris from Japan that fell into the ocean after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami ended up all along the west coast of North America. It's likely that the feet and shoes found in the story are a result of a mix of different deaths. Some have been identified as belonging to people who likely died due to suicide. I believe a number were also linked to people who had died in an airplane crash, and some others were connected to some men who had drowned at sea after an accident in a fishing boat. The rest are unidentified. Most importantly, though, is that none of the recovered limbs showed any evidence of tool marks like a saw that would have shown they were forcibly cut off. Some of them MAY be the result of a murder victim that was dumped in the ocean, but there definitely isn't a serial killer running around.
It’s so weird how the body works. Seeing a picture and getting a terrible sense of dread in your stomach, even without hearing the backstory(video was muted) The weepy voice killer gave me that vibe.
I have watched "Evil Genius" so many times. I really feel that Brian had no idea what he was in for. I think he thought it was fake until that beeping started. Or he at least thought they wouldn't kill him. He thought he could just get the key and be okay. I believe Jessica's last interview. And Bill knew he was fucking dying, he was trying to leave his legacy on this world.

There's a case creepier than this. The guy dug many kid's graves, stole their corpses and turned them into dolls. He kept them in his house for a long time. His parents thought that he was just having a weird hobby of making human sized dolls.

The Weepy Voiced Killer case is equal parts sad and horrifying
Someone calls the police, apologizing and asking for help because he can’t stop killing and he doesn’t know what to do
But then he gains notoriety and suddenly…he’s not too upset about the murders as much as being locked up…
The way he so quickly changed his attitude towards what he did is just disturbing
You deserve a fucking award for saying that ladies name.

Exactly. So messed up on ever level.. he was DEF taken advantage of.. just sad all around

You clearly didn’t watch the docu or look into this case. She didn’t say this until after everyone was arrested and the case was closed, and she didn’t say this to the cops either. If anything saying this makes her life worst because people blame her for it

Propaganda in Pink it could have to do with currents in those other areas.
Propaganda in Pink the Golden gay Bridge is beautiful
Propaganda in Pink it really has to do with the way the pacific current flows, typically since warm air from the south rises amd meets the cold the tides move the currents off the coast of California North, towards Canada. A similar thing actaully went down after the Japanese Earthquake a few years back. I remember some of cousins in Hawaii at the time would get reports of bodies making their way to the shore since they shared the same current its sad really
What bugged me is that the right feet drastically outnumber the left feet. That's not explained as well. Just wanted to add that.
Propaganda in Pink I strongly believe it's serial killer's pattern and this police are so lazy to investigate it more 🙈

You probably just don't hear about it all that much globally, more locally.
but most peoples bodies are found when they hop off a bridge...
It might be both
