    Great effort.
    But as the others said, you need to give Gary Keller space. The job of the interviewer isn't to make the interview about himself, but to create a space where the interviewee can share insights to the listeners.

      Chris Smith great interview. I didn't notice an interruption issue as others here stated. We can't all be Larry King. when I'm interviewing people, with my ADHDDDADHD lol, I sometimes have to jump in and clarify what they're telling me. Most listeners appreciate it. Although I noticed from other comments - there's always some negatives folks who, as my Hero the late Zig Ziglar used to say, find fault like there's a reward for it! Thanks

    Chris you are very enthusiastic and you ask great questions. If you work on being an active listener and not cutting in on your guest your interviews will go from good to great. You cut Mr. Keller off quite a bit. Good stuff though. Thanks for publishing this! 👍

    Wow - really neat to listen to this interview of Gary Keller. Take the time and enjoy. I remember well Gary's comments to the 10,000 agents in attendance at KW FR in Anaheim in 2011 and was so mesmerized by his presence and words I came back to Denton and joined KW!

    Great interview. Gary was patient in waiting for the question you were pressing for. It was nice seeing Gary answering passionately because he was asked a question to go beyond a standard answer.

    I agree with others. The interviewer keeps talking about himself and putting too much of his story in the interview instead of asking questions and listening to the guest. I would have found more enjoyable to listen and grasp what Gary had to say. It's an opportunity to improve and do better next time. Hope you find this feedback valuable.

  • @allthethings9416
    @allthethings9416 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking it. The interviewer obviously doesn't understand the dynamic flow of a conversation let alone how to conduct an interview. It's incredibly rude to cut someone off when they are trying to talk. Gary actually is forced to raise his voice at one point so that he could continue to deliver his message as this guy attempts to interrupt him again and again.

  • @BoroLakaZ

    Do the guitars have price tags on them?....seems like a nice guy, I always look for humility rather than the usual Trump B.S. I'm brand new in the business and this guy gets my vote, he's also in much better physical shape than the other vids I've watched, I can't listen to a guy who has sacrificed ALL for success, you wonder what really motivates them! Interviewer a tad overbearing but Keller allowed him his space gracefully.....he still has that brick in his living room/office?

      ***** Interesting comment about grocery store not knowing him. Ralph's here in South OC California is owned by Kroeger. I like peanut butter... crunchy. I have not bought a jar in a month of Sundays. Every month Ralph's sends me a stack of coupons... and guess what? There's always a coupon in the mix for a free jar of my favorite peanut butter... with a thanks for your biz note. So some grocery chains do know their customers. Being so well known and appreciated that you get something for free every now and then as a thank you is great. So yes technology does exist in the grocery biz. Just shop at the right spot.
