It must be the most surreal feeling for Dave and Pat, that 20 years ago when someone was learning guitar for the first time kids learned songs like Smells Like Teen Spirit and Heart Shaped Box, and now they learn Monkey Wrench and Everlong. It's a trip.
See, whether I enjoy a bands music or not. I can never fail to be utterly impressed by that level of generosity.

Even with friends, when I’m put on the spot to play, I get nervous and forget most of what I know and make a bunch of mistakes lol. This girl got put on the spot by Dave freaking Grohl, in front of a packed stadium of fans, and played the entire song through. Kudos!

Dude, Dave came through my mom’s job at Lowe’s! She would play FF for me growing up all the time. He had ordered a huge outdoor grill and while they were waiting for them to bring it out to load it in his truck he was just standing there having a casual conversation with her and another employee. She said he was so cool and acting like a regular person. Best day of her life.

Dave Grohl seems to be just genuinely, the whole shabang, a good dude. Very collaborative, but also capable of his own singular artistic expression. He's a unique dude.

All of the Foo Fighters band mates seem like nice people, genuinely good dudes on top of rockin music. They are legends.
After T. Hawks awful, saddening, maddening passing yesterday... this right here, is how I will ALWAYS choose to remember the Foo Fighters. Rock Gods being awesome and sometimes making normal people like you and me feel like Rock Gods... if only for like 7 minutes or so. Also, this girl crushed it. RIP Taylor, and hang in there remaining Foo Fighters. The fans feel the pain right along with you.

@@Jboy19881 That's not really a thing if you're a "seasoned" performer. If she's been playing real shows for years she would have performed differently. Professionals can easily spot amateurs, in almost any profession... especially in entertainment because it takes time to develop stage presence and to learn how to work a crowd. But, she still rocked. That's the point.
Dave has always been a guy that I’ve admired for his talents but the way he embraces fandom and young talent is second to none. Being humble and selfless is such a rare thing these days. Makes me smile.

Videos like this always makes me smile. I’m not a huge fan on Foo Fighters though I like a lot of their songs, I just don’t own any of them. With that said I’m a HUGE fan of Dave and have so much respect for him, his love of the music, and his love of his fans. Such a great guy.

I was amazed at her ease of being onstage. I thought to myself; "I think she's done this before."
No one in entertainment does something they can’t control. She is either known, fans submit video from different tour cities, or the promoter is tasked with picking someone they know from a good local band.
Whatever the method they use, it’s not random, improvised, and without an idea of how it will go…but it’s still fun!

I was in ABQ for the first leg of this tour and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is Is one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever been to of any genre. No brings the same energy Dave does. Truly a rock icon!
Dave Grohl is one of the coolest dudes on the planet. He’s always able to put ego aside and let others have fun. He seems to genuinely love his craft and likes to inspire others.
Something 'bout that Grohl guy. Gawd, I love him. The light in his soul shines like the sun. The World desperately needs more of that.

Dave is a legend. I'm not a huge Foo Fighters fan, but Dave is all about his fans. He made this about the fan and her memory of this for life. 🎉❤
The humility it takes for a band as big as Foo Fighters to allow a fan to play with them. Someone else already said it makes them smile to watch these videos where Dave brings a fan on stage to perform with them. Likewise. These videos are the best. Foo Fighters by far is one of the very best bands still playing today. They should be an example for aspiring rockstars. Looking forward to seeing FF again soon !!
