That's wonderful. It left me sobbing - again - which was my reaction about the first 20 times I listened to this piece. I was lucky enough to meet Arvo Part when we did Tabula Rasa about a quarter of a century ago and these images brought back what a lovely man he is as well as a creator of some of the most beautiful music in the world. Thank you and Thanks be to him.
Thank you , Sliders , for this wonderful prayer..And a prayer it is! So much desire for a better world..The organ is sobbing in a very meditative way..It sings the song of human struggle.

That's a monstrous misinterpretation. It is a Scottish folk song in a modern musical version.
Beauty is truly unutterable.
Impresionante! Es un tema que parece haber sido compuesto para formar parte de la banda sonora de "La Gran Belleza", otra obra de arte. Graze mille
Such a phenomenal piece with which to improvise. Thank you.
sublime !
An Estonian counter tenor Taniel Kirikal is singing (ECM intrepreter) and a most intrepretive Estonian organist Aare-Paul Lattik is playing.
This is really serious stuff. Wow!
merci, tout simplement. Votre vidéo m'a profondément touchée, cette musique sublime et Mr Part, ce génie si humble. Bel hommage
Merci.
Wonderful
Lovely video. Thank you.
Bellisimo.... ' love it !!!
Bellissimo!!!
the voice is in same pitch, the organ moves.... the voice octaves... the organ.....
Singer is David James.
idem... thanks from my very deep.
My heart...
god is in the wind, because god is music
Music is my biggest
a very orthodox pious humble man
When I listen to this piece, I hear, among other things, a prayer for the healing of Israel and Palestine.
@stenka razin :-D Thanks

@@rolandsievers6781 Roland whats wrong with u buddy
Can we now where this version is coming from?
I'm not sure it is. It's not the Triodion version as it's faster. It sounds live, and the voice sounds thinner.
Like the other version in YT better.
the one with Christopher Bowers ?
I find this one more profound, a spiritual beauty.. It's a matter of taste after all.
The one with Else Torp? (the alto)?
