Some of these letters do exist in nordic languages, as many comments already said, though the title is specifying the english alphabet, so this does have some truth to it after all. I‘m no one to ask about linguistics though, so I might be wrong as well when I say that these were all used in Old English..
Their use in Nordic languages is, in fact, part of the reason they showed up in English, as many early English printed works were made by Nordic printers. This is also one of the reasons various modern English words have such strange spellings (the silent 'h' in words like ghost and ghetto comes from Dutch printers).
Also England being invaded by Vikings and other groups throughout history helped add weird symbols and spellings.
He meant english alphabet only, but people got it as "latin alphabet" in general.

@@_car5323 the gh in ghetto is unrelated. "Ghetto" is an Italian borrowing, and Italian uses the digraph "gh" for a "hard" g sound before e or i (compare "spaghetti").

動詞の活用が殆んど消え失せたり、名詞が活用(正確には曲用だけど)しなくなったり。
だから、ぶっちゃけ、英語をムズいと思うなら、外国人とベラベラ話せば良いと思うよ。
授業はくそ退屈だからさ。

Eng is actually still used by linguists! It is used in standard phonetics to represent a sound similar to n, but with your tongue in the position to say a k/g. This sound even still exists in English, but many speakers don't know that it's different from n+g.

Doesn't ampersand have the same function as kanji? It reduces space and uses a single character for a word. It's the only english kanji.

厳密にいうと、②、④、12は「文字」というより「単語の簡略形」でした。「&」はラテン語の「et」（「and」と言う意味）を合わせた合字で、「that」は単語そのものを表すために③の小文字（þ）に横線を引いたものです。12はローマ帝国から使われてきたティロ速記の「アンドマーク」でした。その他に、⑩は元々ローマ字ではなかったが、アフリカ諸言語を書くために追加された文字です。その小文字（ŋ）は国際発音記号として使われています。11は、「g」の異体字みたいな扱いで、アイルランド語の表記で使われることが多いです。

I don't feel like the Ampersand is really lost since it is used quite a lot, though it's not officially part of the alphabet i'd like to think it's still considered part of the language
It seems odd to write the serifs on Þ and Ŋ. And I think I usually see the Tironian et sign curve to the left, but a lot of fonts have it curving to the right.

Eh they're rarely used in the internet nowadays other than branding and typefaces. It's so convenient to write the ampersand symbol, but it's more convenient to type "and" than just typing an ampersand
I always consider as they write “Et” in a very ugly way. I usually write the a big ε and extend the middle to join the - of the t.

'That', '&', 'ond' aren't really letters exactly - they're abbreviated forms of words. Middle English scribes used dozens of abbreviations like this to save parchment.

Though, some people likely pointed out that Æ, Ø (Œ), þ, and Ð still survive in non-english language.
Æ (ASH) is used in the Danish, Norweigian, Icelandic, and Faroese. While Swedish dropped it in favor of Ä, Finnish also uses Ä but for a long time Finnish was a purely spoken language also Finnish is a Baltic language not scandinavian. I believe old printed dictionaries use æ in their pronunciation section. However it doesn't have a wider use beyond that.
Ð (ETH) is still used in Icelandic and Faroese. It was used by the scandinavians once upon a time but died out.
& (AMPERSAND) isn't lost, at least not entirely it survives to replace "and" in some stylized text. However, as a letter for instance "bl&" is now just "bland". So it has lost it's wider use in that context, we still kinda use it to be fancy lol.
Þ (THORN) only survives in the Icelandic language these days sadly. It was long replaced in other scandinavian languages and english.
Œ (ETHEL) isn't used in any modern languages in its old form, rather it's been replaced. In Danish it is replaced by the letter Ø. So that's fun!
It is kinda sad we lost such interesting letters but its comforting to know that some languages keep them alive still! My favorite is þ its such a cute letter!
ŋ (ENG) is still in use in the Northern Sami language, it is used to represent a velar nasal sound as in the word "singing" (at the very end). Fun fact, the Disney movie Frozen actually got a dub in this language, and it got translated into "Jikŋon"
