I got one yesterday and raced it on a carpet off-road track. Did 6 battery packs. I broke the servo saver on a high grip turn! I didn’t hit anything. I guess it broke from stressing it on every turn. And the controller stopped working. Luckily it’s the same controller for a Losi Micro-b so I had a spare. The truck feels good. It needs shorter shocks and springs for carpet - we shortened the spring with zip ties to get it to stop traction rolling in corners.
I like that truck. Exocaged RC bashed the hell out of it and can't break it. I also enjoy seeing that it could compete with more expensive trucks. Merry Christmas to your family
I raced my Fury at an indoor clay track the other day. It did okay. One thing I'd like to mod is that front bumper. It's curved the wrong way in that if you nose heavy at all off a jump, that car bumper simply sticks into the ground killing you momentum. There's little to no kick up skid onto the wheels at all. (12:01 I think if the bumper curved up like it should with kick up, maybe this wreck doesn't happen. As it is, it noses super hard into the ground and crash) To me this is a design flaw and it needs some sort of front modded skid plate. But other than that, it held up. No breaks. Super tough.
Once you lower the ride height, add slick tires, put in thicker shock oil, put a faster servo, replace the esc with an HW sensored 120a, and motor with an 8.5T sensored -you're good to go lol
we race 4x4's here on the outdoor track in newberry fl and i ended up breaking my 4x4 lastnight. so insted of packing up and going home i put my fury on the track. yes i came last but i had fun doing it and there is a video of that race here on youtube from just your average rc racer.
I tried slash vs fury brushed at my local track and the fury is way better out of the box the slash need a lcg and tires just to compete with a stock fury
Dont tell people such things. The battery tray fits nearly all 2s and most 3s Lipos! Its very long, but not very wide. Its absolutly ok! And 14mm hex...well for 5-10 dollar/euro and 2 Minutes you can convert it to 12mm or 17mm hex! (The 2in1 ESC/Reciever is a "bigger" problem if you really want to search for weak points or that you cant fit very easy aftermarket bodies because of the body-mounting system!. But with a little tweak and arrma senton body posts or so, you can use other short course bodies).
@@gregorholmes1837 nah slash need alit of stuff to be good racing out of the box the fury is way better.... fury have better tires and a better chassis the shock just need stiffer oil
@@gregorholmes1837 Slash is cool, Fury/Senton is cool. You hating on Arrma aint cool. They are not perfect, but they are no junk. Traxxas is no junk too, but its more expensive. Let´s just have fun with good rc cars.
Your momma dresses you guys funny ;) Seriously, this was a lot of fun, and it's great to see budget cars raced competitively.
Fantastic video! Loved every minute. I look forward to next week!
FURY is awesome !!!
Arrma Furry! Love it.

TONY BODY SLAMMED ME FIRST HE DESERVED THAT SHOVE BACK !!!!!!!!!!
How does this truck handle on the track compared to the Slashito? Which one do you prefer?
Both need work for racing. Kind of a tie in my opinion
I am making my 1/16slash into a track racer
👍👍
@ is there any tips for clay track racing
Stock 100cst Shockoil with Air. So yeah....something like 200cst without Air aint bad for that Fury Chamionship.
10k subscribers gets us the beat juice sauce formula ?
You have been to Ed's before, you coming down next week for the World Carpet Nationals?
Sorry just saw this. I plan on trying to to make it down at some point. New carpet layout looks great!
Throw that stock servo out, it’s causing most of your issues in the corners
Please do the jumpshit v2
Not sure what that means

Only chassis design I've seen that worse then the arrma stuff... Is your wood chassis :)
the chassis looks cheap, but its all fine! nothing to hate about that.
Proprietary hex's battery tray that dont fit most batterys. Typical HH junk.
