    I'm thinking it will take minimum 3 to 6 months to heal the fatty liver, then the weight will start to come off. I also realize now, that if I sleep a lot during my carnivore diet, it's just my body healing many years of damage. I heard a carnivore diet doctor say that it takes energy for the body to sleep. If you have insomnia from years of being sick, you need energy to sleep propperly. It's all making more and more sense. I expected the carnivore and ketosis to give me tons of energy, but 5 weeks in, still very tired and sleeping a lot. I think it's just the body healing it'self. I have never felt better, I mean healthier in decades. No coffee, no supplements.

    Don't want to give up my morning coffee. Hopefully 24 to 36 hour fasts
    a couple times a week will help with my gut.

    Very helpful video. I am 6 months into Ketovore. Still struggling with slightly elevated blood sugar and inflammation

      Start doing some fasting, time restricted eating, I’m 58 and even a little carb will keep you at the edge of ketosis, edge of fat burning.

      @@andrewrivera4029 Thanks for the tips. I time restrict 16-18 hours every day. I do 24 hour fasts once a week. I am currently 30 hours into a 36 hour fast. I do not need to lose any more weight. Its only been 24 hours without caffeine. We'll see if that helps. Current glucose is 135

      Ketovore can mean many things. Get rid of the plants and the blood glucose will correct.

      Cut out all seed oils, sugars, carbs, processed products and oxalates.
      Increase fat.
      Get sunshine, fresh air and good sleep.
      You will get better on a clean carnivore diet.

      If you consume big portions that more than what your body needs, it turns glucose so be careful about portion and eat meat with fat (not much). That is why you feel sleepy after eat meat

    Thank you Sylvia for the wonderful information! I am wondering though why does it take longer the second time, if you fall off the wagon?

    Hi Sylvia. Thankyou for your channel. I have RA diagnosed 2 years ago. I've been on a see-saw of steroids, methyltrexate, arava, and biologic (Humira). The Humira stopped the pain, but cooked my liver! I had to get off it. Now the Dr wants to put me back on it to then monitor the liver. I can't do that and take risks with my liver. I've been carnivore for 5 weeks. I am taking the step of ditching tea and dairy. I'm hoping I can succeed with this path. My inflammation is manageable at the moment. If you have any tips, I'm listening. Thanks, Lisa

    I’m wondering what supplements you mean? I’m still taking D and fish oil with ACV and electrolytes…maybe I should stop some or all for my gut healing? I’m so much better but still struggling a little.

    I was diagnosed 13 months ago with rheumatoid arthritis.. I had amazing results within a week and this continued for 6 weeks but I have had a massive flare in the past two weeks and I am right back where I was before carnivore ??

    Yes, my blood test just came back and my rheumatoid factors are a bit high. I’ve been eating 90% carnivore these few weeks and I can already tell the difference…. I just wish good quality meat was not so expensive 😕

      when you only eat meats and their fats you will spend less and gain in nutrition. Your other not Carnivore foods are needless waste of your money!

    Does cutting out on supplements while doing carnivore include magnesium and electrolyte supplements?

    • @jakecarroll5
      @jakecarroll5 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on your body. Some people just prefer electrolytes where others just need to salt food. Some don't salt food though so this would not be what she is saying. Obviously don't overdue it though.

    I experienced great results within 2 months - the absence of gastritis pain (also stopped two medications for it), daily headaches gone, nausea ceased, joint pain improved, less anxious ..... the list goes on. BUT I just can't handle the erratic heart palpitations, heavy pulse and to a lesser degree muscle fatigue. In the 3rd month I tried more/less electrolytes, more/less salt, adding a teaspoon of honey before bed, vitamin D, magnesium, even a vegetable but nothing helped. I also resorted to taking a beta blocker I had been using previously for a-fib and arrhythmia (which had been resolved). Super frustrating as I feel so much better carnivore in most ways but can't cope with the my heart pounding out of sync and keeping me awake. Any thoughts?

    • @dianarhyne
      @dianarhyne 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You might need magnesium. It and potassium, which is in electrolytes, are related to heart regulation. A deficiency in one or the other can have the same effect. Try adding magnesium and see if that helps.
      I take Mag glycinate. Hope this helps.

      Dr Ken Berry and Dr Anthony Chaffee will help you.
      A clean carnivore diet will fix you for life.

    • @ledacedar6253
      @ledacedar6253 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, Dr's Berry and Chaffee will help you. I have AS arthritis but once diagnosed I faced the issues and then heard HIppocrates. I started with drawing foods finding I was sensitive to most stuff. But then I'd been a cheesy Vegetarian for 45 yrs! zThnks to a 7th day Adventist doctor lying to me and during my pregnancy! Stay strictly away from all dairy. Don't do coffee as you need your cortisol to stop spiking into heat flashes. The casein and Lactose sugars will harm the gut. I feel for yah, but I'm holding out the likelihood of your health to become real healthy.
