But Asics managed to squeeze every last bit of bounce into their latest version of the Novablast. It is possible to make something great, greater.

I'm curious if you tried the Asics Gel Nimbus 26 and how you'd compare that to the Novablast v4, given that these two shoes are sort of "siblings" to one another.
I have tried the Nimbus 26. Despite their midsoles being made of the same foam, ff blast+ eco, they feel quite different. I get more response and propulsion from the Novablast 4. I mentioned in the video that I think it's due to the design of the undersole. The Nimbus feels like you're sinking in and there's noticeably less return in the energy. It just feels highly cushioned and protective, but more clunky than the Novablast. The Novablast also feels well-cushioned, though, which I think makes it more versatile. I hope that helps.

This or the new balance rebel v4? I’ve ordered both so deciding between them or keeping both as a rotation!!
I haven’t had a chance to try the rebel v4. I have heard good things about it. Both have had good reviews but I’ve also heard some say that both foams die early. I haven’t experienced that yet with the Novablast and I’m around 100 miles. If you do try both, please feel free to share your thoughts. I’d be interested in hearing them. Good luck!

Which is better novablast 4 or clifton 9?
I prefer the Novablast 4 over the Clifton 9. They are both well cushioned, but the Clifton feels less bouncy and fun. The problem is in the long term. The responsiveness of the Clifton declines fairly quick. The outsole seems less durable, as well. That said, it was my first long run shoe and my efficiency and mechanics changed a little since. I don’t wear out the soles the same way anymore. It’s still solid and gets the job done, but I just have more fun with the Novablast.

It must be extremely good but for me It is hard to be ahead of Superblast, the best trainer ever: light, responsive, cushioned
I guess I should have qualified that statement to only include recent releases. I’ve only heard great things about the Superblast. I’m tempted to get it, but I have heard rumors that there might be another version coming at some point this year. 🤞
Only novablast I really like was v1, bouncy and fun.
V2/3 boring dull shoes , why not just bring back v1 !
I wish I had a chance to run in the earlier versions since everybody raves about them. I understand your longing for the past. lol. It’ll be alright.
I still run in the V1's and they have a magic about them. Sadly they are nearing retirement. Tried a pair of V4's and did short run. They are nice but nowhere as bouncy as the original. Would love to try the Suberblast!
@@icejam-xq5hj I’m torn about trying the Superblast. I know I won’t be disappointed but there are rumors of a new version coming this year. If the price wasn’t so high it wouldn’t be a dilemma. Let’s see what happens!
