At such an affordable price, it looks like a great deal for beginning guitarists, but what’s inside and how does it compare to other affordable guitars? Tlc, eh... I'm getting an Ibanez RG from the 90's. It's been hand spray painted to look like a Frankenstein. Even the multi piece neck was painted. I'm gonna document this one. Vintage restoration! Seems Luke you're mostly parting out your stuff. The new yamaha is great!
Didn’t part this out. I think you could easily strip spray paint and leave a poly finish underneath. I’ve kinda been waiting to try that.

Acetone would do it. Also the citrus stripping orange stuff at the hardware store won’t touch poly… I tried. :) But it would eat spray paint like nobody’s business.

Bill Leverty from FireHouse used the Pacifica equipped with Duncan Pearly Gates. Of course he had the Floyd version. Unsure of the model.
I read that some models have Warmoth necks and others have Duncan pickups. Quite a range!
Hey man, this is a looong shot but please can you tell me if you found any compatible tuners for this? I also have the PAC012 but finding tuners is next to impossible for this thing. i'd love to get some locking tuners
Kluson Plus tuners for imported guitars should work. That is the only set I know of that would work without mods, although Hipshot might make a set. Here are the Kluson: www.kluson.com/kluson-plus-series-6-in-line-tuning-machines-details.html
@@hacksguitarhobby Thanks man, I've also seen those but it seems finding locking tuners is the problem, I reached out to the hipshot folks and they said they aren't sure if their system will work with the Pacifica 012, due to the odd sizing on those tuner openings.
