I’d buy MasterMind creations and make sure they follow through on filling all the missing spaces on the lost light crew and it’s surrounding cast! Sure I’d keep on with the sure things as well, but gotta keep that lost light alive!
With Bobbies connections how hard would it be to take the first few steps towards your own company? You got ideas, you got passion and your finger seems to be on most of the pulses going around anyways. I’m sure we’d get a worthy whirl in no time!

Ya'll are hilarious! Right at 2 mins in got me laughing for sure! When one of you said
the first bot you'd make would be wheelie 3.0, then:
"I'd come out swinging, with um... with a Prime... (chuckles) I would do another Prime (laughs)."
"Oh my god"
I like the idea of buying MakeToys and finishing the headmasters, then I'd follow them up with the decepticon targetmasters. I think that if any company tackled them that they'd sell, just really cool looking designs in both modes.
But another idea would be to buy DX9 and then release Carry, but in a toon style.

Love these when you do them. Hope they keep coming (so to speak). My 3P company works be Magic Square and make them masterpiece scale. I'd wait till Bobby announced a fig from his New Age company then I'd reveal the exact same character. He'd then shelf his idea to try and wait me out but little does he know that as soon as he releases his, BOOM I'll release my 2.0 version! Call me Jeffery cuz cannibalism is back baby! Also I looooved 13 Hours. John Krakatowa (sp?) from The Office (the good one Bobby😉) was excellent in it. Didn't know it was a Bay movie so now I've gotta hate it! Thanks for ruining my childhood! 🤔🤷‍♂️🙄🤪🤪🤪

I would start my own 3 party company, my first three pieces would be a brand spanking new Rodimus Prime, Hotrod and a Sky Lynx that is bigger than MMC's
My top priories on my figures would be toon accuracy with some liberties, fantastic articulation and over 20 swap-able faces. In fact I would offer ever single swap-able face you a stop motion animator would need to create proper phoneme shapes, this would be the standard for every figure I released.
Every joint will be double jointed, ab crunches standard, and each bot will be able to look down (this is important to me)
After that, I would make proper Horrorcons and a new set of Dinobots which will have the articulation standards I and many others crave.
Eventually down the line, I would make a Unicron based on Studio Cell that is 32 inches tall.
That's my wishful thinking anyway, LOL

If I had my own 3P company, I'd buy NewAge and I'd reboot the Block Town idea that got teased in '96. Each figure would come with a few building blocks and block compatible accessories. Then you can build a little display for each guy or buy several to make a bigger display. It would fail miserably. :-)

I would go with XTB - bump up the QC to near FT quality & smooth out some of the transformations (dial it back from a 10 /11 to say a nice 8, 8.5) - might have a small (NOT FANS TOYS PRICE GOUGING) increase - then do exactly what they are doing - coming out with many of the Characters that the FANS want

Good questions i'd go with MMC or gigapowers and go for characters that either have not been made or some that really need an update
stalker, clench, rotorstorm, dreadwing, sky fall, Whirl, iron fist, etc and redo update on a Turmoil, hound and DJD gang in a larger scale with dead damage robot parts of characters they have killed. Would try out certain beast wars figures like a terrorsaur (with a starscream ghost), tarantulas, inferno, rampage, depth charge, scorponok and repaint versions to be sandstorm and Double Punch.
Something i would like to see a company do some robot solders characters or even maybe more known characters who are really damaged or half destroyed with guts and circuits hanging out lots of details . Would be something different and could make good war like displays

My latest acquisitions? Absolutely nothing through the mail, that's for certain... I ordered a KO gundam model (it's one based on the Nu gundam but done in a titanium finish), but it was ordered in April and was shipped back quickly after due to it being damaged by the shipping company or something, and then reshipped in mid May.
I got ShowZ to issue me a refund in points just recently because it's still not moved on the tracker after saying it was preparing to ship it. I've still got the BadCube Huff preordered through them, and with the points from the refund I've been pondering dropping some of them down on Gears...

If I had my own 3P company, I would start with the 1989 Micromasters, but in MP scale (about 7 or 8 inches tall).
I'd make them less complicated to transform than Fanstoys etc, but with proper 3P quality (including diecast parts for weight).

I’d make some third party tf prime and or tf animated figures. G1, IDW, Beast Wars and Movies are pretty much getting the spotlight for official & 3rd party releases. Prime and animated havent gotten much attention from hasbro or 3rd parties save for the toys that came out around the time of the show’s airing.

Yeah, animated has a lot of potential, the figures back then were pretty good, but now they could be amazing! Cut the gimmicks and increase the budget, and we could have very stylized and expressive figures

@@DJKCP As someone who grew up with Animated (it and the 07 movie got me into TF’s as a mid) I agree I’m down to buy new Animated figures stylized or not, MP scale or not would take the main Bots and Cons and the Dinobots (still would love a new Grimlock with more articulation in both modes) just no gimmicks so they can have more articulation and so you can do more.

The Bud-Ice has effected my Magic collecting and playing. But the money I would have spent on MtG has gone into my shelves of toys… G.I.Joe classified, Turtles, Marvel Legends, Vegeta resins, etc…

I only knew my wife for 4 days before I brought her to my bed… room. She was exposed to it right then and there. She stared at a Christopher Lambert (Highlander) cardboard cut out in the corner and a Yasmine Bleath poster on the wall as she rode. Above the headboard I had sleeved Marvel Comics, from Spider-Man to Venom, G.I.Joe to Transformers, X-Men to X/O Manowar, Batman Knightfall to Spawn, I had over 30 different issues framed and hanging on my walls.
Afterwards she asked why I had no door on my closet till she peaked inside and seen my Transformers, G.I.Joes, Exo-Squad, X-Men, Spider-Man, Ninja Turtles, Thundercats and M.A.S.K. collection. I had a large walk in closet to display them all.
Then she seen my video game collection… from Every system starting with Colecovision till Sega Saturn. Yes, even had the turbo-gfx16 and the Atari Jaguar 😂
I was pussy whipped!!! We were only together 4 months till she convinced me to sell it all!!!
It took me around 2 years to convert her into my Nerdom!
We have been together over 24 Years this November!

I'd buy XTB too, they have the most promise. At their best they're second to none but they have a hard time performing at their best regularly. I'd release a new Gears, Ultra Magnus with inner robot and G2 Laser Optimus Prime.

Maketoys was my favorite 3P company and if the rumors are true that they are the offshoot of Fansproject it makes them even better. However, they have had pre-orders for 2nd runs of a lot of their figures, including Guardia, for over 2 years at this point with no sign of production. They just keep getting delayed again and again. I honestly think they are dead at this point. Solid Classics and Masterpiece 3P company, nailed the IDW field too.

I find it funny that you and Robert and a lot of the comments keeps captain sava h** for xtb. In Roberts explanation he says Keith is a great businessman (which he is because nothing has stopped for him) and that is the key reason they will only be so good. It’s not fanstoys or another group that asking as we make a little we can put out our best product. Keith is a fan who hey what’s the bottom line here ok make it fit in that price. Xtb has the resources (he must be filthy rich) but his approach cuts both ways
