TBH I'm a bit surprised that neither Slugfest or Overkill had their guns incorporated into the cassette mode, the way Ravage, Laserbeak and Buzzsaw all did. I have no idea how it would be done, but considering the price point and the FT standard, I expected more than having some clip-on accessories.
In the cartoon, they did not have those weapons. So they gave you the choice of putting them on for toy accuracy, or leaving them off for toon accuracy.
I think for that price range ratbat should’ve been included but then again maybe sound blaster probably wouldn’t had sold as well either so I get it. FT uses great plastic , die cast , and their paint work is amazing every time, and to have the cassette bots with die cast and fully painted is a +++ and Till this day never had paint chip on any of their products. I guess we still kind of got our moneys worth I think. Can you imagine if it was a Takara product with FT quality die cast and paint we be paying heck of a lot more. Till this day I don’t understand the $650 for their prime SMH.
I like the metallic paint. The small scale and tiny joints of these things hampers articulation, so at least there's some pretty to compensate. Not enough, but some. As a stego, Slugfest needed tail spikes.
FT taking full advantage from a business point of view understanding the want and need for Buzzsaw and Ratbat but releasing them in such a way where the consumer has to spend more. Iv only bought this set for Buzzsaw to match with their Lazerbeak. I have the Rumble, Frenzy and Ravage from MMC, whether sooner or later as they have released other Autobot and Decepticon tapes I expect them to release figures from this set, and they will look and scale better. FT got Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw right as the MMC versions although well engineered just don’t scale well.
Im sure they did the numbers, but id love to know how ot would have looked having Ratbat in this set, and the soundbkmlaster being a limited/preorder fulfillment only ine. Id have snapped the tapes up with Ratbat, but id only want Buzzsaw without so its just not worth it.
@@ChristopherGreen-wf8qc i guess I could, i just really like the little Stego boi. I even have a custom plushie of it from tfcon a couple of years back.
I have I think KFC's Autoroller, and Takara's Buzzsaw, so not sure this is worth it to me. Might just nab KFC's versions used and say "whatever." Or use my old G1. They're still fine.
The drone is a waste of space. Enemy would have been a better character to include, or put Enemy with Soundblaster and put Ratbat in this set if it comes down to costs.
I looked it up. They run $50-400 . Absolutely NOT worth thT much. Not worth half. These are $10 little trinket toys people. Don't let used car salesman talk sell you on plastic jankie crap.
I’m glad Fans Toys made all these guys, the only set for my MP collection I’ll ever need. These characters are officially marked off my list.

I like them . Will there be the cassette that combines together getting made
I bust out laughing when you said “Look he walking”…that joke never gets old 😂
So much better than they have any reason to be

Aww.... Overkill and Slugfest don't combine no more 🤷♂️
Silver cassette holes on all of them would be nice
I dig that Slugfest gives you a choice of holes. I like having options.
I adore his main hole, but alternatives are welcome. 😋
that's what he said...
Some neat details. Look good. Thanks for the review!
I'd sooo make liner notes for the cases! ❤
I have the OG versions and these aren’t enough to make me want the FT versions.
Where else am I gonna get those chrome crystals?😂

i bought this just for the slugfest. planning on just reselling the other 3 so that price should even out hopefully...
@Rad_Crab why keep slugfest and not keep overlord. I can see selling the other two, but the dinos have always been a set!?!

Not sure what I did to get Bobby on my birfday but I'll take it. Good to see you man lol

Just bought the set from Nickthetoyguy and can confirm that it is "and." Got the discount AND free shipping.
Clone? That's the Autoscout drone.
cool n all but too small! ocular max needs to take these up like yesterday n scale em up a touch

Autoscout is only there because he appeared in the cartoon like all of them. Enemy was only a repaint from the early 00's
@@diekstiekem8455 yes, I know, but it is still a useless bit of tat that could have been replaced with something better.
F,YI it’s Calder an autoscout
I don't care about them.. I just want Frenzy, Ravage and Laserbeak.
I think you meant drone and not clone...
Is it me or are you ribbing us with calling it a clone all video?

You can buy them for ≈100$ what are you talking about
