Gladstone fishing Massive Large Mouth Nannygai huge Cod

Here we are on a guided fishing trip off Gladstone harbour Queensland Qld with Johnny Mitchell catching large mouth nannygai and gold spot cod we bagged out on nannies and caught some descent sized cod we tried hard to revive the big cod at the end but it just wouldn’t swim off so we had to keep it for the dinner table it’s not what we wanted for the big girl 😢 this video is from a couple of years ago just never got around to putting it up, hope you enjoy

Yeah it’s pretty good fishing up there we holiday up there every year and do pretty well in both the rivers and the reefs it’s one of my favourite fishing destinations

shouldn't hold big fish up like that, the body weight can cause their spine to dislocate. better off holding it under the belly and supporting the weight. good video though
