I think intellect has a lot to do with curiousness and thinking for yourself. Education just helps you express your own wisdom, and that wisdom comes from life experiences and people and stuff like that..

P.S. I'm not a gun-toting NRA member, but isn't it important to have the government fear the population... not the other way around? I hope you don't get hot about this. Since the advent of the 24-hour cable-news cycle, I have been starving for meaningful conversations... not arguments.

damagebf didn't mean free in that way. Read about positive and negative freedoms. Whether "free" healthcare/education is right or wrong is a different argument, but don't euphimise the word "subsidy" with "free". After all, somebody does pay.

Best research that statement just a little. I like a lot about Ron Paul but there are also things he believes that should be done that scare me.

You sure about that? He and Colin Powell were shitty students. Colin himself admitted to C grades.

I really think Ron Paul should've won... He spoke the truth, told people they have to WORK to make a living... Well some times the truth hurts and people don't like that. So here comes Obama/Romney say how everything's going to be better and quite frankly it's a fucking fairy tale. I for one am personally scared for this country... I just hope we don't all fuck up BIG time...

I was referring to the POLICE STATE not entitlements. Free as in Freedom not free as in getting something for nothing.

Ian has authorized the sales of Minor Threat shirts to Urban Outfitters. Hypocrite much? I used to look up to Ian, but in the end he sold out to the exact corporates that he spoke against.

I think that was more Jeff Nelson, but whatever, Minor Threat was a different beast to Fugazi. MacKaye while I love his music mostly is still the most pretentious prick in punk / hardcore.
