Ian Mackaye has such an incredible memory and is so passionate when he speaks. It’s always a pleasure to hear his take on anything really.

Minor Threat's lyrics empowered me at age 15 and helped me become a better human-being since 1983 🎉. I was part of the Worcester MA scene and am still connected to my crew. All of us kids have since been contributing to society in positive ways. Much respect to Ian and Glenn

Damn this was so good! Two legends chatting who have done so much for the punk scene.
And I used to visit the Georgetown Haagen Daz shop when I was very young and to think that either Ian or Henry was there just blows my mind 😆 ❤

My band, Iron Cross, played at the Woodlawn show and the night before at the Marble Bar with DOA. There were maybe 12 people there. Everyone played. It was great. Incredibly, Brian and Lyle roaded because we were using Minor Threat’s equipment and they wanted to make sure we didn’t destroy it. Good times.

I met Ian at Gilman Street in Berkely in 1991. Nice guy. Fugazi was awesome.

Dayum what a legendary talk/ presentation - - that "check your chains" photo is wild, I never even heard of that. And as much as I've always jived with most of what Mackaye and Friedman say, Kira and Bill brought it big time to Black Flag. Those gigs were off the charts!

I like this guy, there are too many photographers that don’t have that respectful sense of boundaries that Glen has.

Georgetown punks were the rich preppies of the city. It's easy to form a buncha punk bands all playing $3000 Rickenbackers and Gibsons when you're the daughters and sons of senators and lobbyists.
