Need a pool for summer, RVer's love pools. Also a sundries/gift/small grocery store, for those who forget their milk (yeah, that would be me). Some kind of play area for the kids, and dog walk/park (pets need to have fun, too). I love what you are doing so far, and if it turns out well I've got it on my list of RV parks to visit when I retire. Keep up with the energy, love your youtube channel.
Noted!! Will see if we can do a pool same time as the natural hot tub. Depends on the price 😬😬 but so true it would be awesome!!
Also there is a well stocked grocery store just 4 min away too!!
@@TheJurgys Re:the pool. Summers in Swan Valley are like 6 weeks long. Once the sun goes down, it is sweatshirt weather. Also, check the cost for liability insurance for a pool.

My family does camping trips every year- usually there are 7-8 RVs, a couple tents, and 1-2 cabin rentals (unless there is a lodge this is as rustic as those family get). While I agree tents don’t want to hear RVs all night- maybe some dispersed camping in the RVs it will be easier to do family gatherings
Oh LOVE this idea!! We will have larger RV sites with lots of grassy area for extra tents etc And of course hammocks and screen tents

Love the idea of group/family sites! Our boys are in WA and TN while we’re in MI Upper Peninsula. When we gather at new places to hang out, we like to be together as much as possible 😊.
Love the stage idea. And the "hot spring" is going to be awesome! I am here to help!
Y’all should consider having a selection of fly fishing gear available to purchase! Maybe some little boxes of pre-selected flys from a few of the local shops like “The Lodge at Palisades Creek” or the “South Fork Lodge”.
Some DIY fly fisherman may forget gear or have lost something in route and the small shops aren’t always open during the hours they need them. It would be cool to have on hand packets of leader/tippet in various sizes, maybe even a few boxes of fly line, flys, inexpensive nippers and maybe even some inexpensive nets!?
There is the community pond right by the Pine Creek Pass turn off, so maybe even consider having some cheap kids poles available to rent?
The area is full of family owned businesses that offer wilderness experiences like trail rides, guided hiking and other family fun activities! Maybe have a spot available for these local outfitters to be able to advertise their businesses with y’all!

I commented above about locations of different sites but I also thought there could be a “local” vendor area. People are always looking for gifts to take home or souvenirs- are there local artists or food (I’m think jam, chocolates, coffee, etc) that you can sell in your grocery area. This would allow your guests to not only support you but local people as well.
I agree someone mentioned a pool, and a splash pad would be fantastic
The hanger is a great spot for convenience shopping plus offering local available foods crafts etc.
Great place to host large music festivals or even build events with an airstrip there is plenty of space for self contained rigs
Some things to consider to add.
Family orientated.
Miniature golf course
A park with equipment where the parents can swing with their kids.
A giant Ferris wheel and roller coaster !!!!!
Well maybe the first two.

Talk about dreaming big! When the site gets big enough you will want a store. Plan your office to include at least some space to sell supplies for RVs. I’m sure you have seen plenty of camp stores in your travels.
I am super excited. It's gonna be awesome. Big hot tub is a yes. I was recently at a campground with a large hot and during cooler weather they had hours for it to be used as a pool which allowed kids and hours for hot tub adults only with jets/bubbles on.

Hello from Ouray CO!! I am a relatively new subscriber. What an awesome concept that you all have!! I am really excited to follow along, as well as see some really happy visitors to your property. And, I hope you can get your place open in order to ride the tidal wave of RVing right now.
We have a couple of commercial campground here in Ouray. An item that makes 2 of them stand out more is they have a cafe/dinner kind of spot. I am sure that drives up the construction costs, quite a bit. But, it really adds to the environment of the campground. Ironically, both of those campgrounds are a bit farther out that the "easy walking distance " to downtown.
I love your stage/amphitheater concept! That could really be fun as ot develops. You may find that your venue could be a "go to" spot in your greater area....music, campground skits, educational classes, socials, comedy, magic, you name it, it could be really grand.
Our local KOA is putting a lot of effort to make there property a go to place, as I see in your concept. It will be a spot, that as a local, we will go for food, music, drinks, etc.

You need a brewry with outside rustic bar/restaurant. Ten sleep in Wyoming style. Forget the dry camping, give'em water & 110 at least. Your lodge should fit the area your in. Pool for summer. In the future set it up for winter campers with snowmobiles, like heated pads with covers

A cabin or two that are ADA would be awesome. Some folks would not be able to climb a ladder to their bed and might need power for CPAP or oxygen or feeding pump recharge to bring HC family members to family get togethers. Love this. We don't have an RV but would love to come up some time in the summer!

Yes! I just planned a family reunion last year and it took forever to find a place that was wheelchair accessible and house a very large family. The place we went with ended up only being partially because we were told wrong information about a lift to the second storey. :(

@@TheJurgys Still deciding. The current runners are: Lazydaze C with toad or truck and 5th wheel - loving grand design. We found a LD up here we can rent to check it out but not sure how we can test run a truck and trailer when we dont own a truck. LOL. Am curious about trailer too - however, concerned about sway and anti sway bars actually working well. Many things to consider!

Things like what kind of connections we should start building, or what things we can start putting in place now so when we are ready (couple years down the road) itll help us out when the time comes
Yes the the hot spring tub...it is Idaho after all, we love our hot springs.

Nice project. We have a similar campground but at a smaller scale and still expanding. Can’t wait to see how it all turns out. Good luck to your new adventure.
Wired Internet jacks on each campsite power pole just like a cable TV hookup. We had this type of access at the new River Run RV resort in Granby CO and it makes all the difference for people working remote. Many companies require that you plug into hardwire connections to connect back to corporate networks. Also the Internet speeds were so much better than the wireless connections. I can send some pics if you want some more intel on this.

I think this is an amazing idea! And what an amazing backdrop for the park. I am trying to build an rv park as well. I think i may have found the land here in Charleston SC but now to figure out how to finance it all. Would be great if you made a video that broke it down on how you did it financially (Ofcourse if that’s something you are willing to share) i am a pilot as well and i want to turn half of my land into a hangar bardominum set up and the land for a airstrip. I thought it was such a cool coincidence to see that your land was used for that reason at one point. I am so happy i came across your channel and I wish you the best on this journey!

@@TheJurgys yeah !! Fly ins are super popular but many not in the aviation community don’t know much about them. I went to a fly in a couple months in North Carolina and it was so much fun. Everyone sets up there tents next to the planes and we had a bonfire and couple drinks. Such a fun way to meet other pilots. You could have one in the spring and in the fall!

30 acres! 12 full hookups currently with plenty of dry camping areas. More to come 🙏

Vectorworks! My dad has used it for years and taught me on it.
Cascading hot pools with different temps,think 5th water hot springs,also would not like the park city, jackson cabin vibe thats why i would want to go just to get away from that vibe.
