We are so excited to follow your journey since we are building an RV Resort as well ! Just got passed the rezoning with the planning/zoning commission yesterday, now on to the city in a couple more weeks! Keep the faith and continue all your hard and great things will continue to happen! 😀👍
I look forward just to seeing the different steps you both go through to build an amazing RV park. That was so amazing how you opened the park for free when everything was happening with Yellowstone. You both are wonderful, caring people, thank you!
Love that generator. Get the big brother 240 version and install a reliance control generator transfer switch on your well and you’ll have water on grid down.
Could you make a complete guide to opening an rv park and what you did and the process. The plans, the finances, etc. I want to really bad and having trouble figuring everything out and where to start.
wow. the fishing day for the kids. how special. love your channel. next year when I'm out west, I'm coming. you might not get rid of me. I love helping, I love children but most of all I love the outdoors. this year I'm doing Europe in a unimog and it's been fantastic. you both keep on keeping on. God Bless your family.
My husband's grandpa used glass peanut butter jars to store his bolts, nails, scews, & electrical little bits. He would screw the lids onto the bottom of a 2x4. Then he'd fill the jar & tighten to jar onto the lid that was in place. He hung the 2x4 to the shop wall with brackets. Basically creating a shelf of jars that hung below the shelf instead of resting above the shelf. It works great! You can even use different sizes of jars & it still works. My only additional suggestion is to double check that the lid has 1 continuous thread (like a Mason jar) rather than 4 or 5 short threads like disposable plastic ware.
Love your videos. We are also building a campground, just passed our 1 year open to the public. Learning a ton, and loving all of it. I'll keep watching, I can really relate. Thanks for sharing.
My wife, son and I are trying to go full time living and have a set up like your toy hauler! Y’all are inspiring us and we can’t wait to visit swan valley when we get on the road! Y’all seem like such fun people, let’s be friends! 😄
Solar power is your friend as you guys already know how about make a solar powered RV park for lights and in case of power goes out. and other smaller things to power. Like an electric golf cart
Would you guys consider workcampers for extra help? I travel out of my camper doing workcamping around the country & this seems like a nice place to come work, play & learn for a season!
Okay! I am so booking a spot here in the future. Do you do tent camping? 🤣🤣🤣 2:00 Have you thought about a whole park back up generator that ties into the mains power for the future? 45kw whisper watt by MQ power? Not sure what other efficient things you can do to keep things going under adverse conditions. Wind generator with solar in tandem with a battery system for constant power off grid? Clean showers for tent campers has always been a big thing for me as well as water free toilets for the dudes. Since you guys love to keep things family oriented I don't see you offering a wifi service for guests, but if you did I work in IT and could offer some tips.
We DO have tent camping! Just Google “The Park at Swan Valley” and reserve through the website or call us 🤩 Also we DO have wifi! Starlink - open to any and all tips there!! Also love the other suggestions, please keep them coming!!
@@TheJurgys starlink is great because you can do multiple cellular vendors. but if eventually you guys upgrade, finding a local wireless company that can do a point to point microwave antenna to get you increased bandwidth is always ideal, even in the middle of a location that might not have high speed data. Super excited to see your progress and thank you for the information to book a campsite. I'm all the way out in California but a road trip sounds amazing and I've always wanted to photograph the Tetons. Your little ones are adorable as I also have three daughters.
Looks amazing and love your videos, I work in an RV park and can agree with the help part cause there’s a lot that goes into it all but we’re here to accompany you on your wonderful journey🥳
We do! We have 3 separate wells and we regulate the pressure on each of the 3 pumps so that it kicks on when it starts to get low and caps off at 55 PSI so it doesn’t give too much pressure for RVs
Still not profitable actually, and have a lot more we need to put into it! We closed this winter and next winter should have have the campground running still.
hello,we are looking for partener to make a review video on our 4K POE security camera system with audio and detection,so any chance for us to work together? we willing to sposnor the whole system to your channel.i had DM you the details and waiting for your reply
There's a LOT that goes into this. Commercial zoning is one part of it, but other aspects are dependent on your city and county and state. Swan Valley is now no longer allowing anymore RV Parks, so we got it just in time. Are you looking to do one??
How are you able to pick up a dead mouse like it's nothing? I have to pick up a glue trip with a mouse on it and I got so worried I used the handle of a broom to do so
We were looking at locations in Tennessee, Oregon, Florida, Texas, and after spending a few days in Swan Valley, you’ll see why we chose here :) It really is one of the most beautiful areas

I always thought, owning and running an RV park. Could be fun in the country. Good job on the learning curves.

Do you have your own water system too? And if you do, can you regulate the water pressure on the rigs.
So going to stay there when I get out west again! Congrats!
We’re ready for you!!
You’re all truly the best! We’ve loved both of our stays there and can’t wait to make another trip!
Thanks for this update, hopefully my wife and I will make it out there sometime!
YUSS!!! When?
@@TheJurgys how late in the fall are you planning on being open, we're considering October but no solid plans yet?

We LOVE having you guys here!!

Buying that generator ASAP! 😂 16 gallon propane tank on the skoolie, that would work phenomenal for backup backup.

U should use pro long oil engine treatment, it will help making ur generator last longer
oh good to know!

Have you thought about those that like to hammock camp, I love hammock camping, alot of camp sites dont have trees that can't be used.
We LOVE hammock camping as well. More trees are in the future of this park for sure! Also considering building pergolas for hammock sections.

Thanks Elaine! Just uploaded episode 2 of this series!!
Did you build your campground, or did you take over this one
We bought 30 acres that had a few hookups and have been building onto it!
Are y’all doing the additional RV pads yourselves or do y’all have a contractor you use to do that
I’m very interested in opening a small rv park and then expanding. What is the magic number? Cost. Headaches? Steps?
Are you open to it being anywhere? How much involvement do you want to be in it? Seasonal or year round?
Love you guys
The love is mutual John
Grow peppermint, mice hate it
Oooh not a bad idea
Why don't you have a link to your park webpage in the description?

How do you guys like the solar energy that Jerry installed in your Mobile home? Can you actually run both fridge and microwave for 8 hours?
Hey Sebastian! We're lovin it!! We'll be making an update video on it soon
Are you going to do more videos on TH-cam or are you strictly Instagram based now?
Just uploaded one today on TH-cam Dana! Episode 2 of this series :)
Get a couple of cats. . . .TOM to chase JERRY down
