    in the sizing of motor feeders, use FLC (full load Code) or use PEC table. For O.L. use FLA (full load actual) or based it on nameplate or in its absence use calculation. Pag-aralan mo FLC vs. FLA.
    Iba ruling sa group of motors vs. single motor in the determination of CB.

    Master liwanagin lng pag nag size ka ng opcd wire ang gagamitin ay flc yon yong sinasabi ng pec ang fla yon ung nasa nameplate ng motor at ginagamit pra ma size Yong thermal overload ng motor tnx/

    Selecting of TOR is depende sa Service factor ng motor..

      Sir tama ba yong nabasa ko na kapag ang service factor ng motor Ay 115 percent multiply by 1.25=fla tama ba ako Sir

    Sir ano po kaya yong pagkuha ng overload na 120percent x fla phase at 70percent x fla phase yan daw po yong pagkuha mo ng range ng setting pero pag kunin nyo daw ay setting 100 percent x fla line

    sir may tanong po ako diba ang standard ng PEC is ung wire mo is equal ampacity sa CB mo diba ang # 8 is 40 ampere lang ang kaya niyan. bat malaki ang cb kasa sa wire...

      @@floornot6834 Hindi po mali ang nasa nameplate. Ang mali ay yung hindi alam ng iba pag gamit nito. Ang FLA yun yung sa nameplate, yun yung ginagamit para i-compute ang Motor OverLoad Protection ng Contactor, yung sa FLC naman at makikita sa PEC Article 4.30.4.2 , base sa HP ng motor makikita mo doon adjacent sya sa 230v at ng rated hp motor mo yun ang FLC at yun naman ang gagamitin mo para i-multiply sa 125% para makuha ang ampacity ng wire, and 250% pagkuha naman ng tamang Circuit Breaker Ampere na gagamitin. May kunting confusion lang si sir sa pag identifies sa FLA at FLC at kung paano o saan ito i-apply.

      5.5kw x 1000 = 5500 divided by 1.732 x 380v x 0.8 pf x 0.96 eff=10.88fla

      Di pwedi under size ang wire kasi di pa nagtrip ang breaker mo sunog na ang wire, Mas mabuti pa na oversize ang wire kaysa under size

    Mali ka boss di ginagamit ang fla sa pag sizeng ng conductor ang fla ay para lamang sa overload protection ng motor.
