That's such a cool bass. Got mine three weeks ago, and I really love it. A soon as a I see ist, I have to play it, at least a few minutes. Really cool!
Hey Rumblin Man, thanks for the review. I have a few friends here in Australia buying Squier basses and turning them into great, yet, inexpensive personal projects (incl. bridge/pickup/pick guard/tuner changes). I tried a Squier at my local music store a few weeks prior, and was blown away by the quality and playability.
I've noticed like a buzzing noise or is that just after sound I have squire mod jazz bass had to get is setup even some of the electrics had to be fixed although I.love my bass I'm not totally sold on squire basses
Got mine last week, new bridge and machine heads. Frets need to be deburred. Low End Lobster talked me into this bass and the MM copy Harley Benton. I like both instruments. Thanks for the vid. God bless.
@@RumblinMan came in yesterday .. lowered the action and its amazing how great it sounds and plays .. the overall quality is amazing factoring in its affordability .. the neck is thicker than the Geddy Lee Jazz (sold it unfortunately back in 2010) but I think I prefer it .. I couldn't be happier
I've seen all reviews till now of these bass. And i have to say thats a realy great bass for the price.I think will buy one soon. Bridge and tuners are no problem.I've also have to change them on my mex.P(Schaller&Badass II !)🙃 The only thing that i find,is a little bit to clearety when the toneknobs are full on. Cool review as always RM👍!
I just got this bass a few days ago. I'm really impressed by the quality. It's built well and sounds great. It's much better than my Squier classic vibe p-bass. My only issue is the weight and neck dive. I get neck and back pain after a few minutes of playing. Hopefully I get used to it.. Other than that, it's a solid bass.
Hey Rumblin man love the channel. Wanted your opinion, I'm on the fence about the squire paranormal jazz bass vs the sire v3. Which one would be better?
Do you think a simple pickup swap would solve the tone problem or is that the pots and do you think it would be compatible with a a vintage fender style bridge ?
I am not a fan of the SR basses whatsoever. They’re the bass at the every first-time buyer walks out of the store with because someone told them it was good. I’m not a fan of them at all, and would recommend a Fender-style bass like this over any of them. The only advantage you get with the Ibanez is that is has active electronics and therefore more tones.
It’s definitely a cool looking bass. But in my opinion cool is not enough. You can buy a $200 affinity Squire bass that sounds better at half the price. I enjoy your channel and your videos
Rumblin man more videos with that drummer, that was so musical! The bass tone with the drummer mixed in so well..and please ....no more logo t shirts...lol.
Sounds killer! It's really amazing how great Squier instruments are these days.
Wes Wilson definitely!! Always great to hear from you bro.
Always find Squire doing an amazing job with their basses. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thanks for a review of interesting bass. Something I'll have to try when I can get out again. Thanks too to Bully and Lobster for their contributions.
I came here through Lobster and Bully. I'm kinda keen on this bass! Love your style, very calming and knowledgeable. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the kind words!
Killer vid man! You put that paranormal through the paces!
LowEndLobster thanks so much bro!!! A really cool bass.
What’s not to like here? The bass looks awesome and sounds great and you’re clearly enjoying playing it. Very nice indeed!
Sam Elowitch thanks bro!!!

Sounds amazing. Great punch. I really want one of those.
Great demo sir. Which is better this or the squire classic vibes jazz bass? Much love from Philippines. New subscriber here. 🤘❤️🎸
Thanks so much! I’d say they’re both really good, but this one takes the cake.

I was at Replay Guitar Exchange on Friday and picked up a white blonde paranormal bass. It does play nice for sure! Great review Daniel!
2016 Road King thank you bro!! Replay is a great store. I really like their acoustic room. The bass room is cool too.
Sounds good and look great, I like those stack knobs, thank you Rumblin Man!!!
Guy frQC thank YOU!

A great mashup of two of my favorite basses😁

Hi. Is squier paranormal a heavy weight? How much? I can't find this info
That bass rules and is on my radar. Cool video.🥂
Steve Blanco Musician Warrior thanks bro!

Sure V3 all day. Not as well built, but the active preamp is incredible.
which is better the paranormal bass or the 70's precission vibe pbass?
Cool pickguard!

The song at the end of the video sounds great at 1.5 speed! :)
Not related to the Squier but... Is that a Gibson grabber in the background behind you ?
Why yes it is sir!!
I love mine.
This or the Sire V3?
V3!
@@RumblinMan why?
@@bueller8278 the Sire has way more tonal options. And you’re not stuck with the Squier name on the headstock, or the early 50’s design.
I love bass, I play it a bit on my channel
Hi. Is it a heavy weight?
how would you rate this bass against the Ibanez SR300E? In terms of overall tone specifically

Perry Sar I just ordered six new logo t shirts and they’ll be here Wednesday.
@@RumblinMan you are forgiven Rumblin Man, due to your funkiness with that drummer GREAT STUFF BUDDY!
@@RumblinMan Man you had rolling on the floor with your critique of your 7 year old video, that was me a slapping fool
Trying to decide between this and the squire CV 70s jazz bass, total noob btw lol
Is this better of Squire Jazz classic vibe with 2 single coil pick up?
It’s about the same quality in my opinion.
