Oh, someone tell the videographer/narrator that you can refer to this as a hardtop but not as a sedan. To be a sedan there needs to be a "B" pillar in the architecture of the greenhouse area as well as a framework on the upper portion of the doors to support the window glass. Thus if it had those features it would be a 2dr sedan or a 2dr coupe. Oldsmobile designated this car body as a "holiday coupe" even though it technically is a hardtop i.e. NO "B" pillar or upper door window frame support structure. Often the media and the ignorant stretch the use of the word "coupe" to any 2dr vehicle. This is not inaccurate but is not technically correct proper nomenclature and convention. During this period the Chrysler "B" bodies (Road Runners & Super Bees) had 3 roof structures 2dr convertible, 2dr hardtop, and 2dr hardtop coupe. Why hardtop coupe you ask? Because it had a "B" pillar but NO window framework on the doors. Any questions? By the way beautiful Cutlass.
Very pretty tribute car
