Kpop was pretty niche when BTS blew up in the west and BTS made kpop not niche, so they were the main group most people outside of kpop knew so it made sense for them to just keep getting bigger every comeback. Now kpop is so big because of BTS, that so many groups are globally famous and well known so becoming bigger then BTS who literally put the genre on the map literally seems impossible lol. Now kpop is so big because of BTS, that so many groups are globally famous and well known so becoming bigger then BTS who literally put the genre on the map literally seems impossible lol.
