Min Heejin's actions increased Hybe's support internationally. Those fans don't focus on stacking mv views. They buy music and stream. That's why Hybe does better on charts. Haters say its payola because they still don't understand how everything works. Mv views still equal success to them, but they don't realize most of those quick views won't count toward charting.

i do agree about xo. im an engene and so excited about this full album "romance untold". xo is a lot different from their other songs and it shows more of a boyfriend vibe from enha. i absolutely love the concept. the song might be a bit repetetive but the bsides carries the album for sure!! this is their best album yet, with songs like highway1009, brought the heat back, hundred broken hearts, moonstruck and paranormal.

7. Yes, I know we talk about her all the time but Lily of NMIXX is a prime example of having Both Tone control and Vocal skills. Her and Haewon's cover of Survivor by Destiny's child shows her diversity in tone. She made her voice fit the R&B/Soul sound (Haewon too) and while also showing off her amazing skills as a Vocalist. I was so happy when I heard it cause I love Destiny's child and Nmixx. (I found out later lol)

2. I 100% agree on your last few points there. I think a large part of the reasons people outside of K-pop don't take it seriously is not the music itself but the fans, scandals and personas. Let's be honest, K-pop stans, international or Korean are crazy, obsessive and entitled, notice I said "Stans". I get it's just something to show how much a person cares for someone they support but a lot of them are literal stans as Eminem intended for the term. Crazy? That fan that sent Taecyeon a letter written in her menstrual blood. Obsessive? 9. NiziU is doing so well in Japan. Is so nice to see. And the concept change for Rise Up was a brilliant idea and the girls are just killing it . I follow the girls from the beginning and I think NiziU is so popular in Japan is probably because they are a nice mix between the Japanese idol culture and K-pop. In the way that like the jpop Idol we started to know the girls from the beginning, completely unready to be on stage, full of flaw, but then we see them working so hard to get better and achieve their dreams it give the public the desire to help them and then they become fan ready to support them doesn't matter what. The producteur of Morning Musume said it himself.(Is also like some story telling in survival shows) Is a way to make a very strong fanbase. In a other hand JYPent and JYP himself brought the anticipation for the survival to create the group. The K-pop training system being extremely effective helps the girls to improve extremely quickly resulting in a real satisfaction for the fan and also building anticipation. Specially after the massive hit that was their predebut Make you Happy. The debut in Korea was their last achievement and it was successful in my opinion. This next move of changing concept was again really smart for JYPent. Keeping the fan nicely surprised and proud of how far you're fav that you know from her audition can now not just be good at cute/fresh concept but also can now change and do something different from it. Honestly I don't think NiziU is going to keep this concept on a long run, I see them going back to the cute concept actually in one or two releases. But is one of my favourite NiziU songs ! And the girls are just so good in it . I hope JYPent continue to promote and take care of NiziU that way .
The way mental health is treated by the masses in the K-pop community is actually disgusting sometimes. It's insane to me how fans have no problem calling an idol talentless as if it's something that can be said loosely, and when something bad happens, they'll be the first to take back words. Stop being a part of the problem.
It is a tricky situation. For one, they were the ones that put themselves in the limelight. If you want the fame you must be ready to take the good and the bad. Second. It cames with how out of touch with real life for 99% of people this people can go pretty fast. People do not own them anything but some reach a point were they think the world should catter to them. The "Burning Sun" scandal is the top of this kind of behaivour but we see the same patter in a lot less scale in many other idols. You have the groups that get mad because after a lot of bad encores the people laugh of them instead of practicing they demand the ones that pointed their lack of skills, that means they feel entitled to not be abble to sing their own songs on a stage. You have the instances were idols scream to their staff for human mistakes, that means they feel entitled to get always perfection. You have examples of idols being rude to their fans, the same fans that they own their fame. It is all the same. Third. The public, the monster, the crowd, it is a flimsy thing. We as human are smart, the crowd is dumb. One small thing can be multyply by thousands and millions in the crowd and people in the limelight should know and be ready to deal with it. Fourth. The new clothes of the emperator. Fans are delusional, not always but many times I wonder if a dark true is not exposed in the many network opponion and because it can be an uncomfortable truth many call them "hate" speach. I think that learning to read the crowd is a great skill for entreteiners and the one that refuse to do it so are destined to oblivion. Fifth. I agree we should be polite all the times but it is a two way road. If I paid a ticket for a show I expect the entreteiners to give their all, I want live vocals around a 75% of the time, I want choreographies, I want pretty stages and clothes because I paid for that and the artist was the one to offer the oportunity but instead of that you have a group that forgets the choreo, 99% of lipsynch, idols that seems to be forced to be there, idols that leave the stage just because... That is a show of disrespect for your public and lets remember that all is magnify in the crowd. Idols and companies should show respect to their fans too and I would include here the thousands versions of the same, they treat fans as cash cows instead of persons so I get why fans can feel with rights ove them. I think the problem here is the lack of empathy for the rest, the idols that forgets their roots and feom were their money came, the public that forgets the idols are human beings and the companies that treats both as objects and actives. If we act more empathic while holding each other accountable we could maybe have a more healthy enviroment but we need both things: responsability and respect, it does not work if we do not have both for all actors.

Retro genre (over used genre?) with members formation who have lowest "magnetic power" to gain public attention Enhypen gets highest jump of popularity: A) in 2021 with Border: Carnival album ("Drunk Dazed" & "Fever" songs) B) in 2023 with Dark Blood album ("Bite Me") Look at member formation of these 2 albums: there are 3 members who have big roles (line distribution, screen time, centre of choreografi with "killing parts". In other hand, Sweet Venom & XO have retro vibes. Sweet venom is disco genre, reminds me to " Saturday Night Fever" by Bee Gees. XO song reminds me to "Believe" song by Cher. It's not easy to deliver old genre; it needs idol with strong star aura to bring back old taste to be fresh to enjoy. Unfortunately, Belift choose members with lowest magnetic power for member formation in Orange Blood album and Romance: Untold. As result, the song get low digital streaming & MV views. Mnet Asian Music Award "save" Sweet Venom song with Enhypen's amazing stage performance. And the 3 most magnetic power do their job well to save this era (in social media & world tour concert). How about XO? Who will save this song? My prediction Belift will use the 3 members again to "fix" the problem. Will Belift do the same mistakes like "Sweet Venom" & "XO"? Yes, because Hybe doesn't want Belift to use 3 most magnetic power to have big role again like in 2021 & 2023. I don't like chaos made by MHJ. However, this " evil lady" is telling the truth: Hybe makes control which group must be the most popular and which group must reduce the speed of popularity. It happens to Enhypen too: Hybe doesn't want Enhypen to run faster than other groups like in 2021& 2023. Belift will use again the 3 most magnetic members if Hybe allow Enhypen to run faster again.

The entire album was fit for some soloists, not a full group - especially not a group that gave us Fever, Drunk Dazed, Tamed Dashed, Fatal Trouble. HYBE is ruining their groups discography with their "GP target" - LSF, NJ, TXT and now ENHYPEN. Atleast TXT bounced back.

2. I 100% agree on your last few points there. I think a large part of the reasons people outside of K-pop don't take it seriously is not the music itself but the fans, scandals and personas. Let's be honest, K-pop stans, international or Korean are crazy, obsessive and entitled, notice I said "Stans". I get it's just something to show how much a person cares for someone they support but a lot of them are literal stans as Eminem intended for the term. Crazy? That fan that sent Taecyeon a letter written in her menstrual blood. Obsessive? Engenes staying outside of Enhypens hotel, dancing, yelling and trying to get the boys to come down, mobbing them beforehand. Entitled, The Karina dating situation, speaks for itself. 9. NiziU is doing so well in Japan. Is so nice to see. And the concept change for Rise Up was a brilliant idea and the girls are just killing it .
I follow the girls from the beginning and I think NiziU is so popular in Japan is probably because they are a nice mix between the Japanese idol culture and K-pop. In the way that like the jpop Idol we started to know the girls from the beginning, completely unready to be on stage, full of flaw, but then we see them working so hard to get better and achieve their dreams it give the public the desire to help them and then they become fan ready to support them doesn't matter what. The producteur of Morning Musume said it himself.(Is also like some story telling in survival shows) Is a way to make a very strong fanbase.
In a other hand JYPent and JYP himself brought the anticipation for the survival to create the group. The K-pop training system being extremely effective helps the girls to improve extremely quickly resulting in a real satisfaction for the fan and also building anticipation.
Specially after the massive hit that was their predebut Make you Happy.
The debut in Korea was their last achievement and it was successful in my opinion.
This next move of changing concept was again really smart for JYPent. Keeping the fan nicely surprised and proud of how far you're fav that you know from her audition can now not just be good at cute/fresh concept but also can now change and do something different from it. Honestly I don't think NiziU is going to keep this concept on a long run, I see them going back to the cute concept actually in one or two releases. But is one of my favourite NiziU songs ! And the girls are just so good in it . I hope JYPent continue to promote and take care of NiziU that way .
The way mental health is treated by the masses in the K-pop community is actually disgusting sometimes. It's insane to me how fans have no problem calling an idol talentless as if it's something that can be said loosely, and when something bad happens, they'll be the first to take back words. Stop being a part of the problem.
It is a tricky situation. For one, they were the ones that put themselves in the limelight. If you want the fame you must be ready to take the good and the bad.
Second. It cames with how out of touch with real life for 99% of people this people can go pretty fast. People do not own them anything but some reach a point were they think the world should catter to them. The "Burning Sun" scandal is the top of this kind of behaivour but we see the same patter in a lot less scale in many other idols. You have the groups that get mad because after a lot of bad encores the people laugh of them instead of practicing they demand the ones that pointed their lack of skills, that means they feel entitled to not be abble to sing their own songs on a stage. You have the instances were idols scream to their staff for human mistakes, that means they feel entitled to get always perfection. You have examples of idols being rude to their fans, the same fans that they own their fame. It is all the same.
Third. The public, the monster, the crowd, it is a flimsy thing. We as human are smart, the crowd is dumb. One small thing can be multyply by thousands and millions in the crowd and people in the limelight should know and be ready to deal with it.
Fourth. The new clothes of the emperator. Fans are delusional, not always but many times I wonder if a dark true is not exposed in the many network opponion and because it can be an uncomfortable truth many call them "hate" speach. I think that learning to read the crowd is a great skill for entreteiners and the one that refuse to do it so are destined to oblivion.
Fifth. I agree we should be polite all the times but it is a two way road. If I paid a ticket for a show I expect the entreteiners to give their all, I want live vocals around a 75% of the time, I want choreographies, I want pretty stages and clothes because I paid for that and the artist was the one to offer the oportunity but instead of that you have a group that forgets the choreo, 99% of lipsynch, idols that seems to be forced to be there, idols that leave the stage just because... That is a show of disrespect for your public and lets remember that all is magnify in the crowd. Idols and companies should show respect to their fans too and I would include here the thousands versions of the same, they treat fans as cash cows instead of persons so I get why fans can feel with rights ove them.
I think the problem here is the lack of empathy for the rest, the idols that forgets their roots and feom were their money came, the public that forgets the idols are human beings and the companies that treats both as objects and actives. If we act more empathic while holding each other accountable we could maybe have a more healthy enviroment but we need both things: responsability and respect, it does not work if we do not have both for all actors.

Mnet Asian Music Award "save" Sweet Venom song with Enhypen's amazing stage performance. And the 3 most magnetic power do their job well to save this era (in social media & world tour concert). How about XO? Who will save this song? My prediction Belift will use the 3 members again to "fix" the problem.

The entire album was fit for some soloists, not a full group - especially not a group that gave us Fever, Drunk Dazed, Tamed Dashed, Fatal Trouble. HYBE is ruining their groups discography with their "GP target" - LSF, NJ, TXT and now ENHYPEN. Atleast TXT bounced back.
