When go back & watch Batman Begins gameplay, you can definitely tell the Arkham Games look at certain aspects like Stealth, Environmental exploitation etc.
Theyre technically the spiritual successors to this game, there was supposed to be a Dark Knight game adaptation in 2008, but it was scrapped and Arkham Asylum was made instead.
Probably the best aspect the Arkham games took is the thugs just chatting absolute bollocks.
I see why people give this game shit by modern standards but this was the shit in my childhood.

+khetanisultan94 I can't exactly say it's better since you only got 1 game against 4 in the arkham series. Just judging off the first game, I'd say no but I do like the fact that some of the same mechanics were used in the arkham series such as the takedowns and interrogations.
I really wished they would have made The Dark Knight video game, as that was suppose to be open world. But then you probably would have never gotten the arkham series.

@lolseagull ok. 1. Chill the hell out it’s just a game😂. 2. Begins is a good game for what it is, it’s a decent movie tie in game which was rare at the time. 3. Yea asylum is just as old as Begins now. 4. If u wanna talk about old games that are better than newer games, asylum is better than begins, but Metal Gear Solid 1, and Resident Evil 2 (1998) are better than Arkham asylum.
