    Great video with a lot of valuable information. Whats your opinion on a computing and IT degree

      Tbh, I think if you have a degree that shows that you know how to use computers to an advanced level, that should be fine. I guess a degree with “computer science” in the title is quite safe.

    hello bro, just watched your video and you have some great advice for people going into uni, however i’m a gcse student and i am going into six form, would you consider doing a btec in computer science, and also is there a lot of python and coding involved in the btec, im mostly good at memorising things and working out things like binary, any advice?

    • @mistamontero
      @mistamontero  ปีที่แล้ว

      Im not too sure how btecs work, but if the btec you intend to do is equivalent to doing an A-level or meets your desired university’s requirements and you think you’d enjoy it, then I’d say go for it!

    Hello I’m starting my computer science degree this year at university. Can you recommended any programming online courses that can help me prep for my modules?

    • @mistamontero
      @mistamontero  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s awesome!
      I’d say use codecademy and TH-cam to learn the programming languages that you will use in your first year. Udemy is also really useful. Any course with good reviews should work!

    You still getting into law bro ?

      I'm literally posting a video about it in the next few minutes!!!
      People who study computer science or any other STEM subject should definitely consider a career in law imo.

      @@mistamontero yeah am on the verge on deciding if I should study accounting and finance or a full three year law degree my a levels aren’t the best and in order for me to get into the top notch law firms I need AAA so just stuck on wether becoming a lawyer can be a reality and am super interested in both sectors literally all I think about is finance and law but have to choose one career path always wanted to get into investment banking and always like M&A law but need to choose one and be realistic

      @@user-bz8zq4mk3l Your A-level grades are important, but if you got a bit lower than what you wanted, you can still get into the top firms... honestly.
      I got 3Bs in my A-levels, and I've got a training contract for a magic circle law firm. Don't let your A-levels hold you back. I'd highly recommend that you watch my next video, which I'm actually going to be dropping tomorrow at 6pm (not today urghhh). Two of my friends, who studied law, are in it, and one of the questions is "did studying law help you get a training contract?"
      Deffo check it out when it drops. You've got this!
