This was extremely helpful. This will help me decide which route I want to take in the future, especially as I want to do something within computer science!

Sorry, just to clarify, the mean is calculated by adding up all the VALUES in a list and then dividing this total by the number of values in the list!! 😅 psss a slight stumble but you get it

In 20 years, computer science careers will be one of the highest paid careers, potentially exceeding doctors. AI and machine learning is the speciality that is likely to have the highest median income, closely followed by cyber security. Finance will have a slightly lower median income compared to computer science, as for law, it will go down in the rankings, still a lucrative career but oversaturated and not as high paying as it once was in the new technological revolution in our economy.

This was really insightful. I’ve heard some really high salaries in tech. If you want to have a career in tech, you want to make sure you go into the right field. I’ve heard over £80K for graduates tbh. It’s all so interesting.

Not graduates will earn 80k but there is a chance they will reach that level faster ...

@@ompk142 I have heard about a graduate from Swansea university did a computer science degree and is earning up to 50K a year as a starting salary I do think 80K is a bit of a stretch though
