- Step into the Titans of CNC Machining shop for a raw, unedited journey through the world of precision machining. Watch as we create mind-blowing CNC parts, explore the Aston Martin DB-12, and showcase advanced 5-axis processes that redefine what’s possible in manufacturing.
This is not your typical high-energy, fast-paced video. For the first time, we slow it down and give you an unfiltered look at what really happens behind the scenes. From programming to machining to leadership insights, this video dives deep into the mindset and techniques that drive innovation at Titans of CNC.
You’ll see the most incredible part we’ve ever machined-on one of the largest machines in the shop-designed to leave even the most seasoned machinists in awe. Along the way, we discuss leadership, problem-solving, and the precision required to master complex projects.
No music, no edits, just pure, authentic CNC mastery. If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to operate at the highest level in manufacturing, this is the video for you.

Yes, more videos like this! We may all be perfectionists, but the rough-cut delivers. Thanks, and Merry Christmas to all of y'all!
Will do… just need you to watch to the end so TH-cam sees value.
Merry Christmas!!!
i love natural titan more than the hyped one we usually see, now we can see how much the guy is composed. i get why he is always hyped, it gets views and he's excited about what he does but, like he said this is the real deal, and i like it more.
I am listening… Merry Christmas.
Titan
@@TITANSofCNC to you too and to all your wonderful team!
I have wanted to run CNC my whole life and finally after 38 years of life and 23 years of construction, I finally said im going to take a chance and get out of my comfort zone and give it a try. 3 months again, I got into a company in Michigan, learning how to run CNC machines. I am on to my second machine now, I started on a large OD Samsung and now im on a large OD HNK. I love it so far, I have been writing my own G code g70 g71 g72 and also line for line, im learning conversational which takes a minute, then I want to move onto macro. I wish I would have started a long time ago, who knows I may have had a shot at working with a company like yall, you never know, im just going to continue to learn and progress and we will see where it takes me.
That’s awesome! Keep it up, you’ll make it. Devour the building blocks on Academy.titansofcnc.com
21:23 you don’t need to make excuses for yourself. You whole heartedly deserved and earned this purchase. I love watching you enjoy the things you do for yourself and your family because you are always so humble for it. You’re not rubbing this in anyone’s face. You acknowledge it doesn’t make you any better than anyone else. But this is a really good example of what hard work and determination can get you. Great job! Well deserved! Don’t stop!!
Thank you Arturo… God Bless you and your family. Merry Christmas!
Titan making 2011 grips, awesome!!!! TITAN RULES!!
Love it! The format adds an element to the channel that is motivating and inspiring. Hope to meet all of y'all at some point.
Well said Titan. I’m not envious of that awesome car, I am envious of your shop and most importantly your employees. Actually I would refer to them as team members. Had this shop been around in 1972 when I received my journeyman tool and die papers I would have jumped a mile high to come work there with you. Your shop is beyond awesome! The fact that you are doing all of this to educate people is simply the best! God bless you sir. Side note, had Kamala won I think the Heller would have broken trying to machine her head………😂
Thanks brother… Oh and it would have never been attempted🤷♂️🤣
Manufacturing workshops are cleaner than offices these days..
nah. some. most not
Depends on your Company. Even in germany are alot of workshops, that didnt clean somethijng and yea, it looks disgusting.
You have not seen a typical workshop then!
@@felixbeyer6618 ur so damn right ... im a 2nd yr apprentice in a very large automotive company (not widely known ) and i have repaired 2 coolant systems in my department i taught the machinist how to do "dynamic" milling i made chip guards for the machinist on the conventional lathe and argues over the best coolant with the manager of the location ... i didn't win but not because i was wrong or my coolant suggestion was not as good its just that "i don't know anything yet "... sure ... we have seen how little i know about coolant when the mechanics come to me for advice about coolant. Now im working on getting better tool holders and a cad/cam program for the cnc machines because none of them have good programs and the tool holders are all Weldon with baaaddd run out to the end mills break pretty often. Maybe ill become manager for the locatiuon in a few years ... very unlikely because im ass in school but im allowed to dream i hope
@@felixbeyer6618 I never was in a shop that was disgusting in Germany.
2024 has been a great year. But 2025 is going to be wild at Titans of CNC!
Love ya Brother… have a Blessed Christmas with your beautiful family.
I think you made the right call wireburning the mag well. That's pretty much the industry standard for the mag well. I know its popular for AR lowers. I don't see why 2011s would be any different.
@@TITANSofCNC More gun content plz, That's the whole reason I got into CNC. I wanna make custom competition pistols.
@@armorers_wrenchyeah that’s another reason I chose to stick with the wire. I didn’t want to try and reinvent the wheel and wire would be easier to control for accuracy. Thanks for watching. I definitely want to do more things like this. Chris and I both are big gun nuts
@@Jessie_Smith every machinist I've ever met has been into guns on some level. I work in a tool and die shop and I started as a tool and die apprentice but when I did my rotation in CNC I just found that I enjoyed it more. Recently my company has increased the pay for our machinists so I said screw it and I switched. Love the content brother, merry Christmas! Currently I run two small Okuma's on the night shift, my whole reason for getting into this trade is to eventually own my own shop that manufactures custom competition pistols and rifles. Many gun companies say they "manufacture" their products but none of the people that work there know how to make a chip so they outsource all the machining to companies like yours. I don't want to do that, I wanna make my own products. I wish I lived in Texas, I'd love to work with you guys.
Love the laid back feel to this video! Merry Christmas to everyone out there grinding it out every day to make the parts that help society function!
I half expected to see Barry dressed as Santa C........Love the vids and the training materials.
Why ME as Santa!? What you tryin to say, cuz im JOLLY?! 😂
Something similar to this style video would be like a livestream. Throw a camera in the machine and by the operator while you're working on one of the parts that will eventually be in a video anyway. Let us tune in to see it live.
I like the no edit format. I think it has a more personal feel. Good job Merry Christmas
Make American Manufacturing Great Again!
the masses dont realize what making our products here does for so many working folks. we need usa made or we may not exist in the near future.
love this keep it going. see you all in May for Boomtastic
BOOM!
We changed it to June 18,19&20
I like the calm demeanor. You become more relatable and authentic. You clearly have incredible energy and passion about your work, but now and then, it would be good to see more of this. Merry Christmas!
Congratulations on the new car Tyson. As a shop owner myself. Never fell bad about getting something you want as long as you are taking care of the folks who are working for you and getting the company to the vision you have. Keep up the great work on education for the next generation. Be blessed brother.
Titan, this format is so good, it feels so real. I'm new to starting my own cnc business alongside my 9-5. I hope to one day be on my own. You've been such a huge inspiration and motivator.
Titan seems like an awesome boss to have. 😊
He is! Take it from me! 😂
I really like the idea of you guys doing some videos just keeping it real like this. That said, there is definitely something to be said for the production and what it can add to the learning experience. I would recommend using both formats strategically where they fit for the content at hand.
We’ll definitely keep both formats in mind.
Merry Christmas to team Titan. As a machinist for nearly 40 years, I will admit, you guys are on the mountain top. The best of the best. Thanks for all the content and encouragement. ✌️
Just keep being a good person , been watching from the start, just wish I had so much inspiration starting out
Have a great Xmas guys , and hugs from the UK
i can tell titan you were trying to present the car as humbly as possible. you didnt bragg and just telling it like it is. ive owned my 70 chevelle for over 20 years. and i love green my car is dark metallic green with white stripes. nice ride you got there!
as a car guy…the reveal was motivating 🔥
Merry Christmas!! POTUS will be honored. Awesome video. Keep 'em comin'!! 💪🏾💯🔥
No cuts and music, raw speech and cuts, we ask for nothing else.
Congrats on your success and thank you for teaching the industry! This is the only TH-cam channel and podcast I can trust out of the rest.
- M&E Machine and Engineering, Co.
Love it! Team Titan just being real as u can get. raw ,100% pure uncut!
5:40 I was wondering if that was gonna be in the last op! we call that “timed together”. We like to do the same thing for most parts. If it’s called out to a datum we try and machine everything we can in that datum to ensure it’s all timed and tied together as close as the machine and 5th will allow.
Make manufacturing great again!
I appreciate everything you send our way! So much information coming from your videos, especially when you push things to the limit - love all the tips and tricks.
Merry Christmas to you all and hope you all have a wonderful time!
What an inspiration and positive example you all are-not just for machining but workplaces in general-I wish you continued success and all the best in the coming year-Merry Christmas from Bass River,Nova Scotia…
Really like this format! Especially more details when explaining the programming process and deciding how to hold the part. Love seeing how other machinist approach problems
Absolutely love this style of video and seeing the shop and all the awesome people in it, gives me inspiration and motivation to work towards my goals of having my own shop one day. Merry Christmas to the Titans of cnc team
-Seth
Awesome video. It doesn't matter the type of video you guys publish. Whether its Beaux NoGeaux (LA thing lol) with the comedic style, shop tours or raw I love what you guys do. I saw the FB posts about the car how the haters came out of the woodwork. My motto is "if you don't have a hate list then you're not doing your job". It has to feel good after reading the comments from other people stating how this channel has helped them, including myself. Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas.
Thanks Brother, Merry Christmas.
Hay Titan, do you make many parts that have 504kg (ore more) of aluminium stock material?
No, I have made some half that size or made heavier by 3X in steel.
as long as the crew in front of the camera know what their doing. ill be honest. i prefer a normal unedited working video vs all the screen flashing editing. lots of channels snap around and max out the editing. which makes for a crunchy awkward video. plus im much less likely to skip the video after my first epileptic episode. and skip the loud brash music too. us purist just enjoy real content. just like yall normally work. theres never been a radio blaring in the back ground of yalls video that i recall. thanks for the excellent content too. i been watching yall for years.
Thanks! We’ll keep it raw and real, always.
Keep the laid back videos coming. While the hyped up videos are fun to watch, this is more real life.
“Maybe instead we just slow it down, and then make you part of the shop.” ..I felt that lol 🥲
So Good… Love ya Randy…
Titan
Really like this one, not every video needs to be hyper-edited.
So cool 🔥🔥🔥. Taught me more about CNC than my college ever has.
Editor needed a hard earned vacation. Still got a neat video to watch today.
Nice to see this kind of video now and then, thanks and have a wonderful Christmas. Charles
Happy holidays guys, love watching you
Congrats on your Aston! And thanks for your knowledge and sharing it. //Unedited content is my favourite. We are all humans.
Merry Christmas Titan and to the whole crew! Awesome video. I love watching what you guys do. Went to school to be a machinist, not much opportunity in that field in my area anymore unfortunately. I still use quite a bit of what I learned in my current job though. CNC secondaries work for a powdered metal company. Huge improvements in this field in the last 20 years since I've been in it as well. Every once in awhile I poke at my boss about "hey, we have our own machine shop, why don't we start making some of our own tooling, punches, dies, etc, instead of outsourcing them?" They haven't bit on it yet, but I'm gonna keep trying haha.
I absolutely LOVE everything you all do so do not the nay sayers get you down Seeing that piece Barry is machining brought tears of joy to my eyes! Christmas blessings on you all!
More uncut and raw videos, they are the best. They give us the same experience you go through as it’s happening.
I love this format! Makes it feel like I’m in the shop with yall learning
These guys are the best! Why we sent most of our industry to China I'll never know (except for cheap prices). Bring back Yankee ingenuity and quality.
Have a great holiday Guys!
Titan you could have a different car like that for every day of the week and I don't think anyone would be mad lol, earned the hell outta that. Color is sick too!!
Absolutely love seeing what you guys are doing in the industry, Merry Xmas too all of you there.
Yes, i love this kind of video. When all we see are the neat and tidy final touches, it becomes hard to not want to be the perfectionist. When it doesnt happen we quit instead of realizing and learning from where we went wrong. Our hubris of pride makes it harder to admit when things didnt go right.
Titan, i have always loved your take on life and how you see things be it within the CNC world or personal.
Merry Christmas to all the team and their families at Titans of CNC as well to all those online. May everyone have a truly blessed Christmas and coming New Year 🎉
7:43 i probably say this to the guys twice three times a day 😂
Love it!! Merry Christmas!!
Great Video!!! Maybe at 1 Mil make a video of your great team and maybe with a shop tour update as so many machines have been added since the last Titans Of CNC Shop tour.
When it comes to CNC these guys are truly the goats masters of their craft no question!!
Merry Christmas y'all! Love the channel and thank you for all the work y'all put into this channel!
Bought my DB11 Volante two years ago, a DB car was my dream ride ever since I saw a DB7 in British Racing Green parked outside the best restaurant in town 25 years ago. There are faster cars and flashier ones but I think for pure beauty and elegance nobody else can touch Aston Martin. Truly the thinking man's exotic. I'd be happy to drive mine for the next 20 years but if I manage to sell the rest of my company in the next few years, I might have to give the Vanquish a serious look. The DBs are always beautiful but just once I'd love to own something with an English V-12 in it and I don't have the hours or hangar space for a P-51.
I am just a huge fan of Aston Martin period… and agree. They are the most beautiful cars… the lines are incredible and love the entire look. I also wanted the V12 but they went to the V8 Twin Turbo and it Growls so good. Don’t even want to turn the music on. I also am a big guy and don’t fit in most sports cars comfortably. The DB12 is the largest in class and it’s got back seats. So my twin 13 years olds fit in the back… not comfortably for long drives but no problem for short ones.
Love the plaque also that says hand built and inspected by etc. Congrats on the great car and taste.
Titan
The Merc V8s are phenomenal engines and Aston makes them sound just... chef's kiss. Every time I start it up still feels like an event. Enjoy her long in good health!
me: IT'S PIKACHU!!!!!
barry: it's donal trumbs
me: FUCCCCCC!!!!!
( sorry couldnt resist the pokemon meme )
The unedited videos are the best 👍🏼
Merry Christmas, Mr. Titan!
You're my hero!
Thank you and Merry Christmas,
Titan
I like it !!! and Merry Christmas to you and yours !!!!
Most people have no idea how big you are! How do you fit in that thing LOL!
Lost 35 pounds… down to 240😁
Love it ❤️❤️✌️
Best of American manufacturing meets the best of British manufacturing 🤙
Powered by the best of German manufacturing ❤
Love the car! It's amazing seeing years of hard work pay off, very aspirational.
Thanks
Love your message, keep it going Titan
If ppl go back and watch the video when you first told your story they'll understand why you make the decisions you do. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 They don't all know the struggle bro. My story is similar and I get it. Just keep being you bro
Have a great holiday break, men. I love what you do!
Set the next guy up for success!
That's freaking awesome. BOOM 💥
This was a cool video! Thanks for sharing everything!
Tightness of CNC 👍🏻
Thanks for the inspiration, Titan team. Merry Christmas 🎄
Wishing everyone (who celebrates) a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2025! 🎉
Always dope to see what you guys do. Happy Holidays.
Does anyone here know how to fix this? At around the 10 minute mark, when Jessie is showing the part in Mastercam, every time his mouse cursor moves over the part the whole body highlights. Is there an option to adjust or turn this off? I like to use a dark background in Mastercam, so when I'm zoomed in close to a feature on a part I'm working on, every time my cursor touches the body it's like a flashbang goes off in my office. It gets annoying after a while
Go to File->Configuration->Selection and it's the "Auto-Highlight" function on that page. Turning off glow highlight makes it a little less bright, and setting a delay lets you sweep across the part without it highlighting.
Have a question for u guys. Do you go to gym in the morning or evening?
Used to try evening as I am a night person but skipped all the time or cut it short because I felt bad for taking time from my family.
Now, I retrained myself and made myself get up earlier. I go at 5am every day.
Thanks
Titan
@TITANSofCNC wow... I'm also a night person and also feel bad leaving wife and kids every evening. I have taken so much machinery advice from you. I'll take this as advice as well.
Love this! Merry Christmas!
It would be my dream come true to work at Titans of CNC
#CNCExpert member
Who knows…
With our thoughts we make the world & YOU can't do WRONG doing RIGHT, Merry Xmas & fantastic new year
BOOM
What is your tab thickness in different materials? Great videos.i actually like this type of videos from you more
Just have to play with it… .030 or +- depending on width of tool etc
24:50 little mouse
Congratulations sir, Love from India
Love this, more please! ❤🎉
Hello Titan
Happy Christmas 🎉🎉🎉
to everyone
Merry Christmas
I would love to work somewhere that clean! You have a beautiful shop!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Great pistol grips! You ought to consider making matching handguards or rifle stocks too. The handguards could be made solid like the pistol grip or with slot styles for added barrel cooling.
The pistol grip/handguards/stocks could even be color anodized gold, blue, red etc., or whatever the customers preference may be. Trump would love that aluminum bust for the White House.
2011 grips. Doing business with Staccato or Atlas??? Either way, neat. I'd love to see more of this type of content.
Edit: EDM is the right call for the magwell. I know most companies cut their mag wells with EDM whether its AR lowers or pistols. Very popular method.
Love this format!! MMGA, Making Manufacturing Great Again!!
I kept expecting some big reveal... because that's the tempo from other videos... once I settled down, and got into a more podcast mode of listening, where it's all "as it happens", it got to be really enjoyable. Maybe you can label those as "raw" or "realtime" or something... to set expectations.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year
Everyone loves the style so we will probably adjust how we teach and talk in all videos to make it more raw and real
I want to work for you on CNC machines, Titan.
I have been working in this profession for 11 years.
I am from Poland, I live in Poland.
love to listen to a conversation btw titan and joe on JRE. #keephammering
Would love the opportunity
Hahaha love this!
Merry Christmas. Greetings from Poland👍👍👍👍
very, very off topic, but how do Titan's glasses work? They turned into shades outside, I've never seen that🤯
When glasses darken in the sun, they are transition lenses, also known as photochromic lenses. I also have an polycarbonate safety lenses.

Merry Christmas from NSW, Australia!
Awesome video!
😂
Happy holidays and enjoy these days with your loved ones.
And in 2025 more greatness 😊
