Lawrence Becker he is the only one that shows it, every other wrap company posting videos will edit out a complex corner or something they have some problems with. That's why I love Christian and what he shows, very informative.
Christian, I'm not sure if you read these comments but I cannot thank you enough for providing these videos to your subscribers. i recently purchased my step daughters 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe which has a terrible paint job where the paint was flaking on almost every panel across the vehicle. Initially I was going to get the car painted but after watching your videos I gained some confidence in thinking I should be able to do a wrap; I power washed all the lose paint, did some minor body work and followed all that you have listed in your videos. Today my wife and I applied Avery SW900-653-M Gloss Dark Blue Metallic to the front two fenders and all my neighbours were stunned at how well it turned out. We live in Waterloo but often come to your area to get groceries at the Yummy market, I will most certainly drop in next time I'm in the area to thank you personally for your TH-cam channel - it almost has me tempted to take a course and develop some refined skills. Regards.
I love that you show your flaws dude, you've done a hundred wrap jobs without that happening and you still show your mistakes. ive learned you have to always be humble with the film. it bites you in the ass when you're the most comfortable .
Perfect timing with the dog "chasing his tail" right after you tore the film! Thanks for sharing your pro experiences, they have helped me with my personal project! Result? Less of me "chasing my tail"!
Ck you are my inspiration, I am in the process of getting hired as an intern at a local wrap establishment, and I owe so much of that to you! Helped me teach myself a bit and get me interested. Love from Seattle WA!! 🤙
Hello Michael, Well, if you've been watching Christian, you have definitely been watching the best. Best of luck on your new job. You'll always have Christian's videos to resort back to for guidance. My very best to you, Scott
First off, thank you! You're effen amazing brother!! Then, countless hours watched over the last few weeks, this is by far the best video. The dog chasing it's tail right after the rip.. Priceless bruh..
So glad you left that rip in the video, makes me feel better about how many issues I had wrapping my car. Awesome work as usual! Keep the knowledge coming!
It's not a shame to break some stuff and it's part of a video to show and learn what will happen. Since you never edit or cut those part of video it means you are true to your fan.it helped to the viewer to learn everything about wrapping a car..big Thumb up to you..Great video
I wrapped my model 3 after watching some of your videos, very helpful! I ended up doing a seam on the tip of the spoiler to make it easy (and I ran out of large enough pieces). Interested to see how you do the front bumper as I struggled in that area.
So, first video of yours I watched was wrapping a Camaro spoiler, since that's what I want to do with my car. Decided that it was probably going to be too much trouble to do myself. But then started watching more of your videos, and no I'm probably going to do it, and maybe consider racing stripes with the knifeless tape. The thing that worried me was wrinkles and vinyl doubling over itself, but seeing how you handle it, doesn't look like its a big deal at all. Looks pretty forgiving. Thanks! Subscribed.
Brittle vinyl, heavy coating weight, very sticky = big problem. Take the car to Christian, no problem, Mon ! I was listening to some music, and left the volume up a tad too high when the vinyl snapped. Did it scare the crap out of me ? Ü Hell yes it did LOL. Christian, great job. That vinyl didn't look like it was going to be easy to work with when I saw how sticky it was. I wish people could get a good whiff of how good vinyl smells when you take it right out of the box and the bag the roll comes wrapped in. My best, Scott
You are Truly a Master of your craft. Love the videos. 👍🏼

You've got to be confident in your skills to actually show when things f**k up! That looked like a total PITA to do so well done on a great result and good on you for showing that even professionals can sometimes have their work cut out for them... no pun intended!
5:36 - is he recording? Hmm can't tell, lemme take a closer look 6:41 - MUST BITE TAIL 6:48 - oh #@$ he is recording, play it cool, play it cool In all serious, thanks for showing your successes and failures so other can learn.
You can mix a spray bottle with 5-10 drops of washing up liquid to 1-2ltrs of water and spray the vinyl back... similar to what they do when tinting windows... This will help avoid the tacking
Great work CK! Would you be able to provide any tips on how to DIY wrap if you have no indoor place large enough for your car? Like what would be the best environmental factors such as sunny/cloudy/sun/no sun/ morning/ evening and best practices. Thank you in advance
I had this video playing a short bit ago, and wondering why you were specifically talking about the model 3 being difficult.. then a 3 drove by me and I realized " oh, yeah... That'd be a tough one." Ha
Hey there. I just ceramic coated my Model 3. I was wondering if I need to polish all the coating off before applying a wrap. I'm planning on buying the Vvivid Satin Ice Chrome for my car as soon as they have it in stock. What size roll should I buy? I've already chrome deleted the car so i wont need vinyl for that. Great channel! Used your channel to do my chrome delete. Now I'd like to move on to something bigger.
If this was say 3m or avery would you have done the beginning differently because of glud lines? I'm asking more about the start where you heated it up the middle to pull the 2nd half?????
Hey, I know how hard it is to answer all subscriber comments, so it may be a shot in the dark. Looking to wrap my tank and loving that Avery satin chrome red. Only able to find it a few places and it's alway different names it seems like. Is the actual name, satin red chrome? I keep finding things like frozen red satin conform, etc... Love the videos man, I know you will keep them coming!
Thanks for the reply! That was actually one of the sites I was looking at, so that's where I'll go through. Want to do black stripes on it. Would it be best to do them over the satin red, or would you cut the vinyl and put the stripes directly to the tank? Kind of like you did in your video with the black and red stripes. Thanks again for the reply, you're awesome!
That 1st take is classic! You should make a video with just the bloopers. LOL You make it look so easy. I'm wrapping my 2007 Tacoma & the bumper is kicking my @$s man! It's a humbling experience I hope I get through it soon. Air release tool!? Hello! I was wondering about that since I started. Does it work with all wraps?
I watch another wrap channel.. installer always uses a torch to heat material ..is there a reason you use the gun instead.. I wouldn’t use a torch myself in fear of damaging something on the car
hahaha love it! Thats why we got love for you man keeping it real. Thank you for keeping that in. I did the same thing when wrapping my dad's car with a premium vinyl and it snapped, so it's not you at all. Shit happens ^_^
I think I know why that happened after watching it a second time. When you were lifting the vinyl off and it was getting stuck on the edge, before you re-adjusted the grip angle, the vinyl did stretch out a bit there @6:03. Then when you went to pull on that area after re-gripping, you pulled it like it had no tension on it at all. I've whacked myself in the face :/ You the man.
Like when you show the mistakes or problems you run into and show what you did wrong and how to fix it. Nobody’s perfect. Great video👍🏼

I love the dog chasing his tail right after, lol.
"Nobody's perfect", I agree, that's why Google comes to me for answers they can't provide.

I'm another fan here in Seattle! Love checking out your videos. Helps answer my questions when applying vinyl wrap. Thanks!
I'm a hexis trader... Best stuff I've ever used... switched from 3m and avery...
It is harder than it looks to do this, he makes it look so easy. Great video, really helped me on my first Tesla trunk wrap.
It happens to the best of us Chris but so glad you left it in to show eveyone what can happen. Oh what's your lovely dog called.
First off, thank you! You're effen amazing brother!! Then, countless hours watched over the last few weeks, this is by far the best video. The dog chasing it's tail right after the rip.. Priceless bruh..

Glad you left the mistake in there, you did a good job handling it also. Stayed calmed moved on, good stuff.

Props for leaving the break in there, shows its not as easy as it looks
I Just bought some vinyl for my m3... going to install this weekend after binge watching all your videos
Still the best wrapper I've seen mate ... CK wraps rule ... Peace bro 😍
You are a rockstar! I wrapped the back of my Tesla Model 3 front seats in carbon vinyl and would have benefited from some of these techniques
@CKwraps is king, always great demo's
PLEASE DO MODEL 3 FRONT BUMPER
Yes!

Buy bubbleless film. Its pricey but will actually safety you money n headache

You're an absolute wizard with these wraps man! I look at that and i'm like, no way.... you make it look easy! :) Beautiful work!
Thinking about doing this wrap on a widebody challenger.looks great.
Will you eventually have videos covering how to wrap every panel/ section of a Model 3? Keep up the great videos!
You are Truly a Master of your craft. Love the videos. 👍🏼

You're a beast with the wraps 💪👏🏾
Great vid! Can we see more of your pup? Watching it chase its tail was hilarious.

Thanks for the work you have put in to help others. You are a good human being sir, I wish you success in whatever path life takes you.
Can you make a playlist of the entire model 3 wrap process panel by panel?
Great work CK!

Thank you in advance
reminds me of my aston martin V8 vantage trunk... that was a pain -- also was hoping for the slowmo replay of the snap @ 6:00 LOL
Perfect video. Love it. Please post front and rear bumper wrapping. Please.
Another fantastic tutorial and awesome colour
I had this video playing a short bit ago, and wondering why you were specifically talking about the model 3 being difficult.. then a 3 drove by me and I realized " oh, yeah... That'd be a tough one." Ha
I like because you show all with details thanks lovely work
absolutely fantastic... i have such an appreciation for what you do, as i have tried this on my own :)
Great Video! Ck! Great tips!
It's your attitude... Damn it!!!...sorry I blew up ...
Like your work a lot man, cheers for all this tutorials, hope I'll be able to do my 159 SW in few months...
I already get frustrated when applying a screen protector to my phone...real craftsmanship.
A basic question: why not leave more film for easier installation rather than stretching it? For cost?
That was fun to watch
Great instructions!
Thanks for the tutorial and effort in your videos. Looking to wrap my model 3 also , can u do a front bumper tutorial plzzz?!!

Can I ask how much you quoted this person? I was thinking of wrapping my mothers as she is always talking about how cool it is
Assalamualaikum wr wb I am from Indonesia watching this video
I cringed when the wrap snapped, but that dog chasing his tail made me feel way better.

Order from Metrorestyling.com and it'll be legit

I'm Iranian.
very very good and nice brother
Your reaction is so cool😁
👍🏼 wow nice job
That looks like a nightmare to get through
Thanks for this!!
Great content
Is a front bumper video coming for the Model 3?
Nice hack & slash...
I didn't see what happened because there's a doggy in the background.
I like to much your work 😎
Hey CK Wraps, thinking of wrapping my truck black (either gloss or satin). In your opinion what is the toughest wrap as far as scratches, rockchips?
Rick B i wanna know too :)
Gloss will be harder to wrap and more susceptible to scratches. The film is thicker and tougher to deal with.
Can you do the whole trunk in one piece?
As you just stated, the trunk is wrapped…. But it’s missing the whole bottom half.
I think you forgot to tell us what kind of red vinyl is this? Thanks!
Enjoyed your video! Can the wrap be easily removed later and will it damage the paint job?
I'm not even trying to wrap my trunk. This is just interesting lol
Nice one, as a professional any chance you can explain how to wrap E30 touring (estate)? Thank you
That's easy. Buy a different car
Eres un crack amigo Saludos desde Ecuador
I watch another wrap channel.. installer always uses a torch to heat material ..is there a reason you use the gun instead.. I wouldn’t use a torch myself in fear of damaging something on the car
you keep it realm i love it... :)
The alternative is to use heat to make it more malleable but you run the risk of colour burn
Can you get those extra hands on Amazon? Where's the link? Description?
Just did a customers a second time it's passable but since it's matte thier are some slight distortions that's really bothering me.
will this stuff stick to fiberglass custom speakers or just to paint finishes
How much wrap do I need to order for my model 3
Are the reds more expensive???......,.
Why are wraps so expensive? Im new. Thanks!
You will understand after you will do your first colour change wrap ;)
At 5:13 a wolf walks by in the background.
Frickin wizard!
HEY SOMETIMES 💩HAPPENS TO ANYONE...DON'T WORRY ...BE HAPPY!😃
Husky at 6:40 🥳
When it comes to scraps, what shape and size do you decide to keep so you dont have a massive library of odd extras.
I normally don't keep anything but what's still on the roll
what size length do you recommend for this car for beginner? 5x25? 5x20?
Don't sure if he said it in the video but what color is this vinyl?
Oops. You had just mentioned it tears very easily.
Is it a bad idea to potentially have dog hair lodges under the vinyl???
hahaha love it!
Thats why we got love for you man keeping it real. Thank you for keeping that in.
I did the same thing when wrapping my dad's car with a premium vinyl and it snapped, so it's not you at all.
Shit happens ^_^
It has to do with the weather as well
Aww....he was chasing his tail....
How many feet to full wrap?
You’re concerned about paper particles but the dog running around isn’t a concern.
What kind of vinyl Did you use?
