I just bought the Acebeam K75 and I love it! IMO it outperforms the Astrolux concerning weight and allround usability. That's why it still is one of the best out there in this segment today!

This light, the BLF GT94, the MF04, and the Acebeam K75 would make for a very interesting comparison.
That Weltool is a beast for its size wow! That Astrolux is just insane, I love it.
great piece of light. Super flashlight indeed. The video presentation is perfect. Is a super thrower, however the last distance shots over 2km doesn't really iluminate with clearness the target. Again, great video as always.

I ordered a Acebeam K75 the other day after seeing these videos it seems like the best middle ground still being reasonably holdable but being incredibly powerful. It arrives on Monday so looking forward to seeing what it can do :) Slightly annoyed it doesn't have in torch charging like my other torches but other from that looks like a lot of fun :)
It's still the best long range thrower imo.

Exactly! The Acebeam K75 outperforms the Astrolux considering weight and clean light. As a thrower the K75 is IMO still the best allround thrower!
This light + the Imalent MS18 and you're set for ANY dark situation!
My favorite part: 16:31 It lights up the left side of the warehouse that cannot be seen otherwise. 3420m away!
Overall the Acebeam looks more impressive IMO.

Considering the Acebeam K75 is half the battery capacity and about a thousand lumens less, it more than holds its own versus the Astrolux MF05. And today, if you test them both against the Weltool W4 Pro, the LEP will outthrow both. You'll just need binoculars for the W4 Pro.
No tripod this time around? Still waiting for a reply on whether you use the Sigma 1.4 16mm or 30mm? Is that the only lens you use? I picked up a Sony A6500 but finding it hard to rely on the auto focus at range, I now just use manual
A tripod was used in conjunction with a gimbal but the camera still shaked like mad in the wind. Way too windy to use it on just the flashlight. I use a 16mm. I think I always keep auto focus on but it struggles to focus in low light. Luckily on it's release it was the fastest focussing camera in the world.

That's a pretty good keychain flashlight. Do you think this is suitable for EDC?
The problem is with the size ! ......The secret is taking a small light with a nice head like the Lumintop FW21 X9L and using dual 21700 cells and XBT 90.2 and turning that into a light you can carry with you every night !
Have the BLF GT and the BLF GT70. Little disappointed with the 70, probably due to the placement of the LED with respect to the reflector. Would like to see a comparison to the MF05.

It's to allow for sustained searching. 5000 lumens will still get the led and driver hot.

What would be the best batteries to get for this beast? I like long runtime but I want to be able to experience the maximum performance... I assume at 8 cells maximum drain doesn't really matter though right? I mean even at 8 amps per cell that's a lot of juice. (8amps*8*batts*4volts) =256 watts I assume that would be enough for about 25000 lumens and the max on this is like 7500 right? Or am I wrong about something....
8 x Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC6 will be fine.
Why not go for lower discharge but more mah... Like the Samsung 30E.... 8 Amps seems like overkill and I get so much more juice. My favorite cells used to be the ncr18650b which only puts out 4.9 amps and has 3400mah capacity, if you could buy them in bulk they'd be like 2 dollars each
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I have the light and I'll test it with different batteries but I do have a lot of samsung 30Qs.... This light really likes them. I'll test it with 8 NCR18650Bs as well... Test is not really the right word for it because I don't have testing equipment but I'll see how it goes.

I use the weltool in the sewer systems. It is perfect for inspection of long pipe runs. The lack of spread makes it perfect for this task. Very good video. 🙏
