Zappe, is a smart and steady, good QB in the pocket. He's also humble and doesn't wine, like a entitled woman, when stuff doesn't go his way.. He does not "panic" like Jones does, when he gets bum rushed and pressure.
Coach and Greg Jennings are the best guest that come on the show.
Bailey gave that offense juice and actually has a much better arm. Go with the kid from Victoria

Zappe's stats came against Cleveland (20th in defense and fired the D-Coordinator), Detroit (28th in defense and worst against the pass), and Chicago (dead last in defense) and he bombed out against that dead last defense.

I think people are way too quick on the draw to fire coaches, especially one as good as Belichick. Who is out there that is available and is as good as Belichick? He's arguably the greatest coach of all time and you need players to win. Yes he got a lot of money to play with but all the money in the world can't get you a great QB if they aren't out there. Give the guy a break geesh. He was a huge part of bringing 6 rings to NE it would be insane to get rid of a coach of that tier. Sure he set the bar high but in my opinion he's untouchable. If Tomlin is safe then Belichick is safe.

Then why on SXM radio yesterday when it was Patriots’ Day, Mac was on the show and it clearly appeared that he was the starting QB as he was talking about his relationship with OB and their approach together? This is confusing.
Anyone who has paid any attention to pats training camp knows there is no qb comp. Mac has been given all of the 1st team reps and has handled the job much better than zappe so far against the 1st team defense.

There are a lot of players that never got to play. Those players could have been the next whoever. You talk like you knew Brady was going to be great. It's always easy to say after the fact. If Brady came out today from college as a QB he probably doesn't even get drafted. Slow, average arm in today's NFL. Good luck. Everyone wants a guy who can throw is 80 yards why who knows and can run. Brady can do neither.

Why are we measuring bill belichick to mike tomlin. The difference is that bill has executive decision on every aspect on that team while tomlin just has to deal with the questionable decisions kevin colbert made. Belichick made the decision for patricia and made the decision not to go after top end talent. Due to the discrepancy in power belichick absolutely deserves more heat than tomlin
The problem is Mangini doesn't want to admit they're done winning superbowls, Kraft's expectations are unfair and unrealistic because they aren't even close to winning a suoerbowl, so Bill shouldn't be on thr hotseat for unrealistic expectations

@laribol3127 bro he did horrible because he had a Defensive Coordinator calling his plays. He regressed a little but not to that low of a point last year. Most of that was Patricia. Zappe wasn't as good as you think he was either. There's a reason they eventually stayed with Mac which was the right decision. Also Mac isn't gonna be on a 2 game leash unless he's absolutely terrible to start the season lol
@@josuesimplice3859 I don’t think u know what ur talking about kid. So we all know Zappe only played 1 season in college at W.Kentucky. Then Signed with the pats. Now, he only had 13 starting reps and got thrown into his first nfl game, then won his 1st 2 games… he also had a qb rating of 100+ in both games. As for his turnovers, The 2 interceptions weren’t on him, Nelson agholor muffled the ball on the first pick, and the second Dominique Robinson batted his throw and it unfortunately got picked off. Also 2 of zappes fumbles were botched hand off exchanges (which is common for rooks) and the other 2 were because his right tackle Isaiah winn, allowed the defenders in, within 3 seconds as he was about to throw the ball. These are unfortunate but it happens.. but Overall The 4 games zappe started was a success because, Of the 50 nfl QB’s with the most pass attempts in 2022, zappe was ranked tied for 6th in QB rating also ranked 2nd in yrds per attempt. He did all this with a “defensive coordinator calling the plays” lol if u break down his plays u can see how accurate he is with his passing. Also, go watch macs game against the cardinals. He didn’t throw past 30 yards, even tho Arizona has a horrible secondary. he left wide open receivers and when they interviewed him about it, he blamed the OC. A real quarterback, scans the field and throws to the open man, and after a bad game they take responsibility for their horrible playing. Idc what anyone says zappe is better.. that’s my opinion.
@@laribol3127 It's a wrong opinion though lol. I never said Zappe isn't accurate. Mac is just the better QB. Slightly stronger arm and just as accurate if not more accurate. Zappe played against some of the worst pass defenses in the NFL to get those stats. Patricia also called the game differently for Zappe. Barring some unforeseen circumstances Mac is gonna be QB1 and he should be until he loses that job. I don't understand why people hate Mac all of a sudden and are putting Zappe on a pedestal? Mac was amazing with a real OC. He'll be amazing again with Bill O'Brian this season.

You don’t draft Mac and then put him in a vanilla offense w no countermoves and just say “win the game w your athleticism and figure it out” that’s not his strength. This is, actually, Mac's second year. Last season was a clown-show from start to finish and doesn't qualify as a "professional" season.
