The game didn't flip because of Jalen's turnover. The game flipped when Phillys special teams allowed Tony to take a punt return to the 2 yard line. Yeah the turnover wasn't good, but Jalen was the only reason they still had a chance to win that game. In fact Jalen put the in position to win. Hurts is a good qb overall because it should include other things like running ability, not purely passing. And his running was a major part of winning. Polamalu was mediocre at coverage. He played more like a linebacker, making eye popping plays like getting sacks and tackling runningbacks instead of the boring pass defense that typical secondaries do. This is why people consider him to be one the best players of all time, even though he was average at the safety position.

Eagles defense thanks to the coordinator was called overrated all year (proved it in the Superbowl by getting zero stops or big plays) but the defense is better? So y'all can't pick both sides on the Jalen argument. Either the roster is the best in the league or it's overrated pick one. They lost so couldn't have been the best in the league. Jalen played lights out besides the fumble and yes that cost points but they had a ten point lead after that and his defense couldn't make a play or get one stop.

And Mahomes was beastmode on a bad ankle when plays broke down, when Andy's schemes didn't work. For example, when Mahomes had to improvise on the Skyy Moore TD (as Andy was trying to stop the play with a timeout), when Mahomes had to rush for the first down into the red zone on that same bad ankle in the final few minutes. Andy's great, maybe the best, but he never won a Super Bowl until Mahomes.

Before Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce had won a total of one playoff game between the two of them, seven seasons between the two (5 for Kelce, 2 for Hill).
People hate Mahomes because he's possibly the greatest they've ever seen. I admit to doing the same thing with Tom Brady, saying it was just Belichick, running Brady down because he always seemed to be throwing to wide open receivers. But I was lying to myself all those years. It was Brady reading the defenses like a genius and finding those wide open receivers, it was Brady developing the greatest quick release in history to overcome his lack of mobility. I can now admit that.
Maybe one day some of these Mahomes haters can get over their jealousy and sour grapes and tell the truth themselves.

Actually I’d take Goff over Dak anyday! That Rams vs chiefs game is so memorable.

most quarter backs run alot when they are scared and have no idea what to do but run. the greats run when you slippin and they take advantage of your man defense

Overrating Hurts. By a considerable amount. Because of 1 incredible throwing game and a shoe-in QB sneak.

Jason is honestly more important to the offense.

I think rating him this highly based on essentially this season alone makes no sense. Yeah, he’s overrated right now, but one or two more seasons like this and you could make an argument for it.

I can tell you didn’t actually watch any games and that’s ok. But he only lost one game during the regular season that was more team mistakes than his fault plus he went to the Super Bowl. So last year he was one of the best players in the league and arguably the most important

Yeah, we watched some of his games (of course). Just not Eagles fans. The guy has a great line, and (what I think is) the best receiving core in the league. If you think he’s a top 5 QB in the league-let alone second-that’s crazy. But we shall see this year. (Still, great improvement. Liftime Bama fan, and remember is limitations in college….seems like good ppl, too.)
