I've got a c6 manual GS convertible, the insurance on my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited is $300 more a year than the Vette. My 26 year old Toyota 4 Runner Limited is less than $200 cheaper a year than the Vette. 🤷
I've been thinking about buying a Vette. You can get them a bit older like 2003 models with very low miles for around $18K. Payment wasn't nothing on it. About $300 a month.
@@19hundoc47 I can definitely afford it. In 2 months of work at the job I started, I've got over $5K in the bank. I just don't want a huge payment, and to pay it off quickly. I don't like buying new or close to new cars either because of the depreciating value. You can get a good reliable used car with very low miles and not have to pay but a quarter or less of what a new car is. And in good condition too. Ones I looked at had nice interiors and paint still and around 40K miles.
How much are the daily expenses of a corvette c6 such as the maintenance I’am looking forward to buying a c6 as my first vehicle also I’m trying to make sure that I will be able to afford the daily expenses on it anything will help every bit of advice will be very much appreciated.
Daily expenses are very reasonable! They are great on gas even my car being supercharged I still average mid 20s around town high 30s on highway. Oil changes are $50 to be honest it’s one of the cheapest sports cars to own. I put a water pump on mine last year it was $130 from GM
@Bama_Mopar yea thats what they said and my deductible is 2k as well.. I never would have gotten a rebuild if I knew all this i googled it before and asked around and heard it might be a little more but this is trash I'm about to just go with lowest legal option and invest the difference the car is paid off at least
im paying for above full coverage at 19 years old on my own insurance at $290 a month
bad or good?
@ I’d say it’s good for a teenager with a sports car and it’s above the minimum and above full coverages so I’m paying extra for those coverages

The insurance kills me on my 2010 base because it's a rebuilt title. I'm 48 no tickets no accidents , no points, 818 credit score, $320 a month
@@teddydavid2816 GEICO should give you a lower quote if not progressive otherwise something has to be off
@TheSlowEcoboost for sure something is off i have progressive i guess they can f u because not many companies insure rebuilt titles
Oh wow! Yeah that is pretty high! Is it because of the rebuilt title you think?
