Hello! For 4th graders, I would suggest using the Boddle Learning. It has a lot of differentiation support tools built into the platform and also supports individual students by putting each of them on an adaptive learning path. Students will love the interactive platform and teachers will love the support tools it has and the data that it provides!

Thank you! What about a classroom tool like Kahoot but for special education kids/younger kids? Kahoot is too difficult to match the color with the answer and then click the color on each personal device, but I'd love to test letter and letter sounds quickly and in an engaging way?

You're Welcome!! Good news!! Kahoot has made this a new setting, where you can have the answers show up on the students devices instead of matching the colors!! 🙌 In the Game options screen, scroll down to General and toggle the following option on: “Show questions and answers on players’ devices”.
You also can have pictures as the answers if you want for younger learners!
My favorite alternative is Blooket! I love it because it levels the playing field where any student can win, and its different students win each time you play! Try the Gold Chest one first when you first start! Unfortunately, the audio questions are a premium feature of Blooket, but it works so awesome for just general questions! Any app suggestions for parents to use at home without teacher assistance?

I would suggest adaptive learning path tools where the tool will decide what the child needs based on how they answer the questions. For this age group, Khan Academy Kids is great for the younger students and for the 1st & 2nd graders my favorite adaptive learning path for math is Boddle!
For Khan Acadamy Kids, it is set up for parents to use without modification.
For Boddle, the teacher will set it up the class and share the student login's for the student to play at home without the teacher needing to assist and the parent not needing to assign anything specific. The student will just continue on their learning path.
      Hope that helps!!

@@integratedteacher my son's Teacher is very unresponsive so I'm not able to get any credential information from her. I'm looking for apps that are geared towards parents setup and control. I will try the suggested ones though. Thank you

@@Deevinediva2012 Khan Academy is geared toward parent use first so that one is ready for parents for kids 2-8. For Boddle, you can sign up as a parent without needing the classroom component. And depending upon the child's age, Prodigy is another adaptive learning path that parents can sign up for without a classroom.
