Thank you. I am a math interventionist and work virtually. My students attend a traditional elementary school and meet with me one-on-one daily. These apps will be useful.

Thanks! Love your suggestions! Do you have a summer suggestion list you send home for your families? Apps, games, activities... I'm putting one together for mine, so I'd love input.

Our first grade uses an app called Boddle. You give assignments, but in between there is lots of game action. They can battle their classmates, which they love.

Great recs! My 2nd graders love Prodigy. They also like Khan Academy KIDS (make sure it’s the kids one for iPad/Chromebook as it’s super cute!). But, alas, I’m being bumped up to 5th grade. I still plan on watching your channel though because you helped me TREMENDOUSLY with teaching 2nd grade - and I LOVE your math bundle and phonics poems on TPT!

Thank you, very useful! My kids and my friends' use Calcularis (math app) and Grafari (spelling app), which are very easy to use even if the kid is struggling with dyscalculia or dyslexia. I would recommend

We use prodigy often in class. The kids love it, but like you said, it isn’t super math heavy. Another great one to check out is Boddle. I just introduced this and my kids have really been enjoying it.

The 1st game reminds me of TIM (The Incredible Machine). From decades ago where you had different machine parts to build a machine that would perform a certain task. Had lots of balls, gears, planks. Unfortunately, the game did not survive the numerous upgrades to the technology and the game went away. I’ve had that happen with several really good applications. It’s so disheartening when somethings, so awesome just doesn’t make it to the next round of technology.

Great for ipad...but odo you have an online game suggestion list? I allow prodigy two days a week but am always looking for more online math games with specific topic practice.
