Imma try more with the album review. This to me is a mockery of what Edward sees of how artists are exploited by the music industry, and the savior complex that some of those artists will receive. Edward sees that the artists are exploited and wants the world to see how their perspectives are distorted through a commercial lens. His song Label Meeting describes his hatred for how most artists are exploited by the major labels, and how he despises how they trick young men with the lure of money, drugs, success, and fame. Edward wants the viewer to see the difference between real art and art made for commercial purposes.
@@ahcreative I feel like these guys just reinforce it though, his actual music isn't really difficult just more hedonistic drugged up nonsense, it's good for getting money from rich white kids though so that's great I guess

I'm not a big fan of performance art because I prefer calm and steady art pieces that speak for themselves like paintings do but at least an exhibition like Edward's will stay in your memories for a long time lmao
In my opinion the exhibit was cool n all, but I feel as though it's lame on Edward's part for not incorporating/pay homage to Antony Riddle, in terms of there being a pop up for Yori clothing. With all the inspiration that Edward takes from Riddle's work, him also working with him very recently throughout 2024, and this whole exhibit literally portraying a "Riddle-esque" message as well, just feel like credit isn't being given where it's due, if you are really paying attention. Him also using Yori as a sponsor is just as lame considering Yori stole Antony's blueprint, and blew up off of it. Just lame all around, that's just me though🤷♂
I think this is on the same level as dean blunts art exhibition. His exhibition was a stock photo framed and hung on a wall while frequencies played. There could somthing profound being said or there could nothing said at all. I do think that edward is quite an intresting musician although his music is not for me i do respect him for being different. The way he implements a.i in his visuals are actually pretty uniqne. I like this guy's mind more than his music
can we get an explanation on the art itself though? I wanted to know the meaning that it held

it means what you think it means
“tell me how to think”
art like this itself is up to interpretation, its up to you to think of what the art means to you
