It's not like it's ingrained in each of us how to talk to certain types of people. Obviously, a level of respect is required when talking to people in general, but even when people were to meet with the queen they were briefed on how to address her. Nobody gets a briefing for a situation like this that's intimidating on the face of it with the added pressure of being in front of a live audience and on television. I cut the inexperienced court-goer some slack.
